Process of electronization of public administration in the Czech Republic

The work deals with process of electronization of public administration in the Czech Republic. It is focused on public administration and still unfinished public administration reform, whose important part is electronization of public administration. This work gives closer explanation of the eGovernment and its development in Czech Republic. Finally, attention is focused on one of Ministry of Interior of Czech Republic projects eGON, particularly on its most visible part Czech POINT.
Data Boxes in the Theory and Practice

The Data box institute was authorized into the Czech legal order by the Act No. 300/2009 Coll., about "Electronic acts and authorized conversion of documents" three years ago. The aim of the thesis is to introduce data boxes in the context of the Czech e-Government and, based on the case study, to assess their real merit to citizens communicating with public authorities. In the opening part the reader is familiarized with the legislative possibilities of the information system of the data boxes and with other tools related to the e-Government. There are also described the particularities of operation and use of the data boxes and a summary of their development since the launching of the system in 2009 up to the present is made here. In the second part I point out primarily the case study, which depicts the reality of use of the databoxes in the Czech offices. According to this I evaluate the success rate of the performance of the aims defined by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic during their implementation.
Public Sector Marketing Communications - Comparing the Czech Republic vs the Principality of Liechtenstein

This thesis deals with the current situation in the use of marketing communications activities in the realm of the public sector. After placing the issue of the work, followed by an explanation of the significance of marketing communication use in the state sector, the share of public sector to create the image of law, the importance of linking public sector - citizen in relation to the perception of non-commercial sector. The text outlines the methodology for the use of marketing communication strategies in public administration, and there are examples of communication techniques which public institutions in the Czech Republic use. The next chapter deals with similar situations in the Principality of Liechtenstein including a comparison with the Czech Republic. The practical part deals with the marketing research among Czech citizens and institutions of governance in the country related to the thesis topic.
Analysis of Applications at the Municipality of Prague 6

The aim of the thesis is to analyze selected applications at the Municipality of Prague 6. Basic municipality activities and applications related to them will be presented and evaluated. The main contribution of the thesis is the complex description of the selected applications and the presentation of their possible weaknesses and strong points.
ICT in public administration

Nowadays, when we are so dependent on new technologies is hard to find a single human activity left behind. So the ways of communication between citizens and the state apparatus aren't an exception and that brings new possibilities in development of information and communication technologies. This situation formed a whole new part of IT/ICT - to eGovernment, whose primary mission is to accelerate and simplify contacts between citizens and their government. The aim of this document is to introduce e-government, its possibilities and potential for simplifying the work of many people. The main attention is given to projects implemented in the Czech Republic using the direct analysis of individual services and comparing current state with the situation abroad. At the first part of this thesis we'll get familiar with the concept of eGovernment and its history in the Czech Republic, followed by presentation of selected foreign and domestic projects. In the analytical part we will evaluate the legal environment supporting the creation of eGovernment and perform analysis on Data boxes (Datové schránky) and eGON project, which currently forms the basic services provided by public administrations. In conclusion we will evaluate the security conditions of the entire system and summarize the most important results from the whole thesis.
