Summary Administration of Virtual Machines in the OVirt Project
Macko, Samuel ; Fiedor, Tomáš (referee) ; Rogalewicz, Adam (advisor)
This thesis tackles the idea of virtualization and virtual machines. Theoretical part covers basics of virtualization from various aspects. It introduces a concept of virtualization and various architectures used to achieve it. The thesis also examines most popular implementations of mentioned architectures as well as commercially available virtualization solutions using those implementations. The aim of its practical part is to design and implement desktop application for administrator level overview over virtual environment running on oVirt. The main goal is to solve some of its known issues regarding accessibility of its data.
Cooling of Data Center
Ostrezi, Jakub ; Katolický, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design data center placed into an ISO container used for transportation. Maximization of the space efficiency and minimization of the running costs are primary. This work also contains a measurement of data center electronic parts power consumption, a computational fluid dynamics model, a simulation of external thermal gains and a 3D model with basic technical drawings.
Handling equipment for the containers
Buš, Martin ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Prokop (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with research of used handling equipment and auxiliary handling equipment for containers. In the introduction of the bachelor thesis there are brief information about combined transport and used containers. The following is an overview of handling equipment and auxiliary handling equipment for handling containers.
Virtualization of computing machines and operating systems
Kadlíček, Jan ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about virtualization of machines and learning how to work with virtualization technologies, such as VirtualBox, VMware, Hyper-V, Docker Container, this paper also compares their parameters. Important part of this paper is to choose the best virtualization technology for tracking on Department of Telecommunications, based on results of tests.
Revitalization of the Padělky housing estate in Ždánice
Culek, Lukáš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The main point of this diploma thesis is revitalization of housing estate called Padělky in Ždánice. The housing estate is located in the northwestern part of the village. There are nine roads in zone 30. Two of them were already repaired in the first stage. The housing estate is without a transport solution and without the possibility of legal parking. Now the roads are devastated, there are potholes, holes and cracks. Six roads were reconstructed, two were extended. This brought the possibility of detours and improved transport. The new design legalizes the parking space. There are new built parking spaces, too. Conditions for the inhabitants of the housing estate are improving. There are new trees, bushes, rosary, furniture and waste bins. The public lighting will be replaced.
Design of tank container for storage of petroleum products
Bezděk, Lukáš ; Nekvasil, Richard (referee) ; Létal, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents design of oil storage container type ISO 1CC. The container is designed according to ISO standards. The standards prescribe or limit some of the container dimensions, other dimensions are derived from specific purpose of the container. The container can be considered either as a transport container (empty) or as a stationary tank (full). Therefore, the load conditions are given by ISO for transport containers in the first case and by ČSN EN for the latter. The goal is to design and evaluate various container designs by FEM (finite-element method) analysis.
Infrastructure for Testing and Deployment in the Field of Containers
Ormandy, Adam ; Lengál, Ondřej (referee) ; Turoňová, Lenka (advisor)
Znížená efektivita spôsobená robením repetitívnych a manuálnych prác je častým problémom v IT.
Design of container for oil product storage
Mifek, Roman ; Nekvasil, Richard (referee) ; Létal, Tomáš (advisor)
Purpose of submitted thesis is design of container for oil product storage. First part introduce with issue of tank containers and their type division. Next part aims on tank containers with angular inner vessel and their utilization opportunities. In final part of this work, there is made design of container and strength analysis by final element method, using software ANSYS Workbench. Annex includes design documentation.
Design of a paper waste container
Jančová, Petra ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Vespalec, Arnošt (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a conceptual design of a paper recycling container with regard to aesthetic shaping, effective use of internal storage space, handling, transport and ergonomic requirements. It solves the shortcomings of current containers by timeless shaping using modern materials and reliable production technologies. The result is a practical container design that uses psychology to encourage the public to sort paper waste and thus contributes to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
Utilization of Linux Containers for HW/SW Co-Design
Juřica, Jiří ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis a way of replacement standard virtual machines by Linux containers is described. The goal is to create a~fully working system for performing parallel jobs with prepared environments for software build and test purposes. For containerization the Docker platform was chosen, which is used with automation tool for computers preparation. The system is also connected with continuous integration tool called Jenkins. This solution proves that usage of the Linux containers is more efficient than older virtualization technologies. The due time of each job was shortened about 24 % in average. The main benefits of this thesis is the comparison of two ways of virtualization and the introduction to the Docker technology.
