Velodrom
Horký, Rostislav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with desing and static assessment of supporting steel roof structure of velodrom. Climatic load is determined for location of city Znojmo. The thesis consists of technical report with comparison of 2 options solution, technical report of chosen variant, static report of main supporting parts and chosen connections, bill of materials quantities and drawing documentation. Computational model for evaluation of internal forces is realized in SCIA ENGINEER 17.01 software. Static report is created manually according to valid European standards.
The impact of inner shielding on the thermal stability of room
Halva, Jiří ; CSc, Vladimir Tichomirov, (referee) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
This thesis deals the internal shielding elements and their influence on the thermal stability of the room and compares the differences in their characteristics.
Engine Block for Diesel Engine 2.0 L
Kudlík, Michael ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the problems of the engine block and crankcase. As a one of the most imprortant and first part of this task is creating a 3D simulation model of a engine block and calculating load forces of engine block. The simulation and evaluation of the solution are calculated by using method finite element, software Ansys. The conclusion and ending point of the od the diploma thesis construction desing of stiffness increase.
Adaptive Damping for Trucks
Neuman, Ondřej ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned with designing a computational model of a commercial vehicle. In addition to that, a control algorithm for adaptive damping is presented. These two parts are connected into a closed loop and together they create an adaptive damping system. The primary task of the algorithm is to react on a vehicle load change. Vehicle model has the opportunity to create different driving scenarios, which are used to verify algorithm functionality. With the help of computational model and optimalization process, suitable damping characteristics are derived. An evaluation of vehicle comfort and driving safety is also presented.
Numerical Model of Engine Control Unit
Křepelka, Jan ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with issues of controlling the amount of fuel injected by the control unit. Model of four-cylinder engine and computational model of control unit were constructed in the simulation software Lotus Engine Simulation. Then was made model checking of the control unit by simulation two transients (acceleration and shifting). In conclusion was made application a created model on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) and appropriately evaluated and processed the results of this simulation.
Verification of the model for predicting the properties of the combustion process
Horsák, Jan ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work thoroughly analyzes a previously created computational model for predicting characteristic properties of the combustion process in an experimental combustion chamber. Any found shortcomings of the original model are removed and the model is further improved prior to its application on 11 real cases of combustion tests performed at various conditions and with various fuels. Data provided by the model are confronted with the data obtained during the combustion tests and the model accuracy is evaluated, based on local heat flux along the length of the combustion chamber. Finally, the overall usefulness of the model is determined by the means of evaluating the acquired accuracy values, and further possibilities of model improvement and use are presented.
Study of stability solution of timber structures
Hetver, Jan ; Brdečko, Luděk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
In this work is presented development of computational model of real timber truss in collapse state. The model was solved linearly and geometrically non-linearly and the results were evaluated. The aim was to depict the real behavior of the structure.
Bridge over a local road and a brook
Zifčák, Karel ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to study the bridge with a span of 24 meters, which bridges the local road and creek. The work focuses on the design window sill beam supporting structure with parabolic main beams connected to each other deck plate. The aim of the work is at the beginning study of three variants of possible bridges, the most suitable of them is selected and then static solution. Calculations of load effects are dealt with SCIA ENGINEERING 2013.1. a proposal is made according to standards EN.
Thermal treatment of waste with heat recovery
Strapko, Tibor ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
Following bachelor‘s thesis deals with one of the possible way of waste treatment nowadays, thermal treatment, focusing on the facilities using this secondary raw materials as a renewable source of energy, WTE plants (incinerations plants in history). At the beginning this work focuses on waste and its history, diversification, characteristics, origin and reasons of their continual grow in production. For complexity and possibility of comparison this work slightly deals with 2 other most popular ways of waste treatment, as well: recycling and waste disposal. Next part concers with thermal treatment of waste, specializing on WTE plants and its processes. These can be devided into 3 different parts: incineration part, energy utilization part and flue gas cleaning part. Big attention is concentrating on energy utilization system, which inconsiderable affects general effectivity of this facilities. Finnaly, there‘s a numerical evaluation of energy flows in process of waste incineration and its processing into simple block and computational model.
Computational Models of Transmission Dynamics
Czakó, Alexander ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a summary of knowledge about the computational models of transmission dynamics. Dynamics modelling has different levels of complexity. From the modal, harmonic analysis solved in the FEM, up to creating a virtual prototype in the MBS softwares. In the introduction, there are presented the basics of analytical dynamics and mechanical oscillation which are the basis of individual analysis. Vibration sources in transmission are described as well.
