The aim of this project was to create a dignified place for The last farewell extending current cemetery in Brno Líšeň. The whole design takes in mind a grim situation of the visitors and mostly to right working of layout. The building is placed on the new axis on the northern cemetery border. The long pathway before the hall should bring to mind our journey in the life and big window in the funeral hall refers to infinity after the death. Building itself is made of two volumes. First of them is simple block with affiliated spaces and second one is a ceremony hall itself, which rises towards Marianské údolí. Technical service room is in the basement. The building is aimed to incorporation of the nature and material simplicity.

Assessment of degradation of coatings for cement composites with organic fillers due to aggressive environments

There are many methods and techniques for assessing the degradation rate of coatings for cement composites with organic fillers. However, it is necessary to choose appropriate combination of various adverse conditions including intensity level of corrosive media and duration of action of these compounds on the material to simulate their complex effect in relation to the real exposure of structures. Part of the theoretical work is focused on the kinds of coatings that are suitable for cement composites with organic fillers and then there are listed devaluing environments which these coatings affect. There is also a proposal for a testing a complex simulation of a real environment. The practical part describes the tests that were performed on cement bonded particleboards with applied coatings.

Modification of the filler in cement-bonded boards with alternative filamentous fillers

The cement boards are commonly used as a filler fir or spruce chips-profit wood. The increasing demands for construction materials forcing technology to develop new types of composite materials using an alternative source of fillers. In this work in the context of theoretical knowledge about the specified fibers in composite systems are discussed properties of cement binder and filler for cement – bonded particleboards and alternative materials. The practical part describes the test methods designed recipes and then made boards of which were carved specimens intended for testing the properties of boards with alternative fillers.

Leisure Time Centre Brno

The objective of this project was to design a complex for leisure time activities. This locality, which is slightly declining to the south, is situated in the city of Brno, in the city district of Nový Lískovec, in the current park between Chironova and Plachty streets. After considering the concept, the object – ordinary square – was easily situated in the center of all pedestrian communications. There was created a small square around this point,which is surrounded by four non-rectangular buildings with unique construction system. Whole set of structures seems to be compact from outter park view, so a visitor will identify the complex division only inside. There are four entrances to the central square in the directions of the initial communications. The complex is structured into four functional units. Through sport, gastronomy, cultural hall for up to commercial spaces. Some of the four objects were designed as two-story. Around the whole square there is a gallery, which provides the acces to the services on the second floor. The gallery is connected to the ground by three vertical communications.

Možnosti využití cementotřískových desek v závodě CIDEM Hranice na Moravě

The thesis is focused on cement bonded particleboards opportunities of application at factory CIDEM Hranice na Moravě. The beginning of the thesis is focused on designing products from cement bonded particleboards. There are two types of solutions, basically the solutions are child houses sheated by cement bonded particleboards. Solutions are divided on with or without floor as well. Next part of thesis is pursuing with cost estimation of product for material, furthermore cost estimation for work and last but not least how much time will assembladge take. In the last part of thesis there are compared similar products usage financially, materially and in a point of lifetime of product.
