Using IT for Business Process Support

The area of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is an important factor, in which many see a promise of improvement of the economic situation. It is a well-founded request, and as shown in many advanced economies, this segment is an important part of economy. My thesis involves one of these situations, where a starting entrepreneur, with low capital investments, is looking for ways how to achieve his market goals and how to support business processes with the help of information technology (IT). The IT supported business model here, will be a model, where the main distribution channels are realized with help of IT technologies. With this distribution channel relates the use of social network services as a marketing tool enabling a development of a company and an effective but not capital-intensive tool designed to realize the business targets.
Orchard Module Development

This bachelor thesis deals with creating a new module for Orchard CMS. A new module is based on the original module Media for file management, which supports only a very limited number of file types. The work was written in C # language using Microsoft. NET Framework version 4. The aim of this thesis was to create the new module and publish it on the website of The Orchard project.
Research Organization Information System

This work aims to develop a web information system capable of handling administrative processes within research projects of the CIISB infrastructure. Base functionality of the system consists of project registration, reviews, full support of the communication via email, controlling projects' statuses and managing documents. Maximal automation of administrative processes and unlimited extensibility are key aspects of the system. The implementation is lead by C# programming language and related open source technologies from Microsoft. The text of the thesis accompanies the reader through all phases of the basic software development cycle except deployment and maintenance.

Web Interface for Data Administration

This thesis deals with the issue of proposing and implementing a web application designed for data administration. This application enables the administrator to create and graphically modify presentations of data configurations, which are consequently presented to the end users. The application also contains a template subsystem that makes the process of creating the presentations more efficient. This system provides the end users with tools by dint of which it is easy to organize the displayed information and to manipulate it. The logical part of the application is implemented in the PHP programming language and the database uses the MySQL technology. The programming languages utilized for realization of user space consist of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Tool for Import of Web Pages into Kentico CMS

This thesis describes the conversion of static Web pages into CMS Kentico CMS. There are presented all the technology used in the solution. It deals also with CMS system, on which is conversion application implemented. The second part deals with design and implementation of both parts of the final project.
Portal for the support of cryptography instruction

The main goal of this master's thesis is building of web portal for presentation basic cryptography algorithms. Those algorithms would be explained in the theoretical page in the first place. After that, they would be demonstrated by scripts. One part of this project is designing simplified theoretical element for basic impletion portal of information. Next part is creating web portal by one of the free available CMS´s systems. Programming language JAVA would be used as an instrument for creating demonstration scripts. For creating animations will be used the Flash animation tool. Target of formed web portal is creating community of expert public. It would make new articles, scripts and knowledge. This way, the portal would be kept current. The section which would include failure the most widely used algorithms and instructions how to eliminate it will be part of portal.
Business Information System Modernization with Use of Project Management

The main goal of the diploma thesis is to prepare a plan for information system modernization with use of project management for HARTMANN-RICO company. This task is going to be solved with use of critical analysis and project management. The result is going to be detailed plan of the project with all necessary prerequisites including economical evaluation. Based on which management will make a decision about acual project realisation.
Web portal for organizing races

This bachelor thesis deals with system for support of races. CMS Drupal is used to manage this system, which this system is suitable for web site content management. The first part of this work is devoted to the description and requirements that the proposed system for the support of races has to contain. The second part of the thesis deals with comparison of available CMS systems. Here are the most commonly used CMS systems that are currently available in OpenSource licenses. Next, there is a possibility to create a custom content management system, or use it with one CMS system. The third part is devoted to designing a web portal. This section contains flowcharts describing the principle of how each function works. It also contains a description of the basic structure of the web portal and the procedure for installing the CMS system. The last part describes the practical realization of the web portal. The procedure for accessing data stored in the MySQL database, generating start and result documents in a PDF file, registering racers, using client mail and setting up a CMS system is described here. In conclusion, all the results of the work are summarized.
