Temperature Measuring in Wellness
Gábriš, Michal ; Žaloudek, Luděk (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with creation of operation program for digitally calibrated thermometer measuring two temperatures, which can be used in wellness centers. The thermometer operates in two modes, the mode of measuring and displaying of water temperature, and the mode of linear digital calibration, in which the temperature sensors are set. The Bachelor thesis contains both the description of used hardware components, and software solution implemented in assembly language. This device is already in commercial use.
VIZIO - dental system automation
Gábriš, Michal ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with creation and realisation of extensions for medical dental unit Vizio. Specifically, it deals with electrotechnical solution and software for capacitive keyboard and with proposal of principle of control and regulation of speed for integrated brushless motor. The Diploma thesis contains both the description of used hardware components, and software solution implemented in assembly language. This device is already in commercial use.
Inteligent Photo Printed Circuits
Kočík, Karol ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor’s thesis is a design and implementation of an amateur PCB production device with photo printed circuits method. Different kinds of illumination and production processes of printed circuit boards are compared in an overview. In the chapter devoted to the construction of the device a brief description of the amateur device construction is made, which parts and functions it contains. Design of the device was focused on power saving and multifunctionality of the device. The last task after the construction of the device was to test the functionality and present the results.
Emulator of Simple Processor
Kuzník, Petr ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Křoustek, Jakub (advisor)
Emulator will be designed as generic emulator. It should be capable of emulating versatile architectures. Each architecture will be stored in separate module implemented as dynamically linked dll libraries. Main goal is for the emulator to be generic and design its structure in a way, so that it would be possible to easily add new architecture modules and design these modules with already implemented abstractions. Primarily implemented architecture will be Commodore 64. It is a personal computer used mainly in USA during 1980s.
Demonstration Program of Computation of Live and Dead Variables
Pavlačičová, Petra ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
Demonstration program of computation of live and dead variables is visual utility for learning about optimalization of target code with tagging live and dead variables from input string, which is mathematic phrase with using syntacticanalysis, work with registers and generation of target code in assembler.
Simulation of an ARM Processor for the Education of Programming in Assembler
Ondryáš, Ondřej ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis aims to implement a didactic tool for simulation of an Arm-based processor integrated into the Visual Studio Code editor. The tool facilitates learning about the machine-level programming of these processors. It implements a service that provides an assembler and a simulator for the A32 instruction set. The service is built using the Unicorn emulation framework and other open-source tools. The editor extension uses the service to add support for the development and debugging of programs written in the assembly language. It shows descriptions of used instructions and helps the programmer understand their function. When debugging, it enables stepping through the code and provides various views of the state of the simulated processor, its registers and memory. The solution can be used in the Advanced Assembly Languages course at FIT BUT. It could be further improved in the future to support other architectures and provide an easy learning environment in other courses related to machine-level programming.
Design and realization of teaching instrument
Pučegl, Pavel ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
Gradual wear and growing dissatisfaction with current panels for purposes of teaching the course „Logical control and programmable controllers“ has lead the Institute of Automation and Computer Science at Brno University of Technology to a decision to establish a new educational tool „LOGIK“. The tool is intended to facilitate practical verification of knowledge gained by students during this course. Students will have access to this device and will carry out various practical projects concerning combinational and sequential circuits. The general objective of this thesis is to design and subsequently construct this educational device so that is could be fully utilized during the course in near future.
Decompilation of High-Level Constructions in C++ Binaries
Jakub, Dušan ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Matula, Peter (advisor)
The thesis addresses the decompilation of high-level object-oriented C++ language from a machine code. The term reverse engineering is defined and existing decompilers are described with emphasis on their ability to reconstruct C++. AVG decompiler project is introduced, to which this thesis contributes. C++ language is analysed, both on a logical level and in the machine code and existing methods of decompilation are described. On this basis a novel method is introduced, capable of decompiling classes, their hierarchy, constructors, destructors and definitions and usages of virtual methods. The method is implemented, tested and evaluated. In the conclusion, several suggestions for future development of this project are presented.
A frequency inverter based on Texas Instruments DSP
Vašíček, Adam ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on control algorithms optimization, especially using the Texas Instruments c2000 digital signal controllers family. The first part roughly describes an AC induction motor controlling and regulation techniques. Later on the control software optimization basics are covered. Particular attention is payed for trigonometric functions which are mandatory for such software. Next part shows practical use of the previously described optimization techniques using an example of the scalar frequency inverter control even going down to the assembly instructions level. At the end the results themselves as well as facing the invested price of optimization are discussed.
USB thermometer
Holub, Jiří ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a problem of electrical measurement of temperature. It describes a various types of temperature sensors and processing data obtained from these. It describes in short the USB interface and its parameters. It also contains a design of hardware and software solution of thermometer using temperature sensor SMT 160, managed by microcontroller ATmega16 and communicating with PC via USB interface. Designed thermometer also offers possibility to save measured data to built-in memory and later load them from there. Measured data will be also displayed on LCD. Last part of these thesis is design of application for PC, which will serve for displaying measured data and adjustment of thermometer.
