Routing protocols analysis
Rozsypal, Ondřej ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the routing problematics and the routing protocols of the third layer of the ISO/OSI reference model. In the first part of this thesis basic principles of routing are described. The next part explains the differences in routing and the behavior of each internal routing protocol. The last part is dedicated to design of a network used for analysis of each protocol, collection of routing parameters in different conditions between the routers. These parameters are then plotted into graphs and diagrams. Based on this data an analysis of these protocols is made.
Modeling the Basic Principles of Communication Technologies
Ruiner, Michal ; Koláčková, Aneta (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of 5 laboratory tutorials where the basic principles of communication technologies are modelled. A reader is apprised with the available software first for the simulation of network technologies. The simulators and emulators are compared. Packet Tracer, a software developed by the Cisco company, is chosen for the lab exercises and Wireshark, a network protocol analyzer, for the traffic capturing on a local PC. Then the reference model ISO/OSI is described for the basic introduction to the principle of network communication. The Chapter 3 explains the basic problematics of network paths searching, the routing table contents and division according to the type of routing and routing protocols groups. In the next chapter, particular communication protocols used in the labs are analyzed in detail. Final part briefly describes the implementation of all laboratory exercises. Laboratory tutorials are provided in the appendices.
Models of Routing Protocols for Network Simulation and Analyze
Šafář, Jan ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Ráb, Jaroslav (advisor)
Thesis describes the way of implementation of new routing protocol for network simulator ns-2
Innovative Routing Protocols
Rouča, Tomáš ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with the technology of routing data in a computer network. Thesis described in the theoretical level properties of current and past routing protocols and their use in information systems. Based on the acquired knowledge was created a simulation model of network communication in programming environment OPNET Modeler. This model analyzes the received parameters of the current protocols and their subsequent implementation in the real transmission technology using operating system Debian Linux. Finally, the transfer parameters are discussed between the simulation model and real transfer technology.

Testing, routing and QoS in private networks
Opravil, Tomáš ; Holík, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis concerns the interaction of technologies of routing with ensuring the quality of services. It focuses on the function of routing protocols RIP and OSPF in combination with FIFO, PQ and WFQ queues of the technology DiffServ. The main output consists of two complex laboratory tasks. The first deals with theoretical research of the two mentioned above Riverbed programme technologies. The second subsequent task uses the emulator EVE-NG to aim the verification as well as deepening the acquired theoretical knowledge in practise.
Laboratory exercises explaining the principles of network technologies and protocols
Hricko, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create two exercises for students. The first exercise is concerned with comparison of transport protocols TCP and UDP. The second exercise is concerned with comparison of routing protocols OSPF and RIP. The first part describes used simulation environment. The next part describes the operating system used in routers. The following part describes the procedure of installing virtual machines. The next part consists of theory of protocols TCP, UDP, OSPF and RIP. The last two chapters are the laboratory exercises.
Comparison of Distance-Vector Routing Protocol
Cocuľa, Maroš ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with comparing the distance vector routing protocols. More accurately, protocols EIGRP, RIP and Babel. The aim is to compare information using the simulation OMNeT++, as well as the physical connection. Part of the work is a detailed description of the protocols, simulator OMNeT++ and the libraries INET and ANSAINET. Finally, we summarized the results of experiments and the comparison of protocols with each other.
Routing principles in data networks
Stodůlka, Tomáš ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of routing in data networks. The theoretical part defines general options of connections between two nodes. Furthermore, the principles of switching within a single network and routing between the networks are described. Another part of thesis focuses on the routing methods in terms of static or dynamic enrolment into the routing table. In the practical part have been designed and realized a structure and topology of laboratory exercise for subject Architecture of networks.
