Time factor in the managerś work

The diploma thesis deals with time management in work of three managers. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on study of scientific literature. It is focused on management, managers personality, managers functions and roles. Thereafter, time management techniques and methods are described. Information from theoretical part provides a complex base for the practical part. In the practical part, the organization and managers, who are the subject of this thesis are described. For the time management analysis was used time frame, forms for analyzing interference and forms for identifying the major time consumers. Furthermore, individual conducted interviews with each manager were made. The interview revealed the managers attitude to the importance of the time factor in their managerial work. On the basis of information obtained from analyzes and interview, the shortcomings were discovered. Recommendations for elimination of shortcommings were suggested together with recommendation for more efficient use of time.
Time management

It is of great necessity to know how to manage time. The theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with the definition of time management, its origin and evolution. It covers the basic rules of efficient time management and the principles of efficient work organization. It describes the usage of goals and their setting, circadian rhythms and their influence on our productivity and the most common factors that steal our time. Based on the analysis of time frames and half-structured interviews, the empirical part follows the lives of six university students for two weeks. Our goal is to find out how the respondents use their time, what is their knowledge of time management and also to cover the difference between students living in a room alone and students sharing a room with one or multiple roommates.
The time factor in management executives

The diploma thesis is focused on the effectivity of time management skills of three chosen managers. The thesis is split into two parts. The first part of the thesis provides theoretical basics of time management, basic terminology and methods of time management are layed out for further use in the second part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis consists of guided interview, time frames and questionnaire which are used to identify individual approaches and problems in time management of three chosen managers, who are representing each level of management (lower, middle and top level) and come from various types of business organizations. Based on the data provided by the second part of the thesis, the problematical parts of the time management are identified for each manager and recommendations are offered to each individual.
User Interface for Activity Tracking

The thesis describes the implementation process of the application intended for activity tracking and its graphic user interface. At the beginning some time management and activity tracking techniques will be briefly introduced to the reader. Some existing software solutions related to this topic will also be mentioned. The next chapter deals with the design phase of project. The two following chapters describe implementation phase of project's data and application layer. The author discusses chosen implementation techniques, some occurred problems and their solutions. Testing phase and its results are described in the last chapter.
New system proposal for the balancing of assembly line powered door operation of rail vehicles

This work deals with the measurement time frames and then balancing of assembly line in the company IFE-CR in segment drive units rail vehicles. The first part of thesis is focused on methods of work measurement, method improving quality eight disciplines problem solving and one of the many basic methods lean production 5S. The second part of thesis is introducing company, company's history, products and distribution drive units for rail vehicles. The following part is focused a distribution of production hall, description of workplaces and detailed description of assembly line. The practical part is focused on time frames of assembly operations and theirs compare before and after balancing of assembly line. The last part of the thesis deals evaluation of results balancing of assembly line with focus on productivity.
Economic analysis of energy use of mobile devices in the selected farm with cattle

To determine the costs of feeding the car was needed to develop a time frame. The farm is located machines: loader Schaff 5850, Storti wagon and tractor Zetor 7211
The use of logistics in a manufacturing company

The graduation thesis deals with the use of logistics in the brewery Pivovar Protivín a. s. The paper presents a view of the current situation of Czech breweries in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. It maps the trends of recent years in the brewing industry and shows how Czech breweries have faced up the economic crisis. The results of Pivovar Protivín are presented and compared with the results of Svijany brewery. The distribution of Protivín brewery products is analyzed. Based on the analysis, the time frame of beer delivery to customers is made. Further on, the questions of the packaging management in Protivín brewery are dealt with. Breweries are specific for complex and expensive reverse logistics of returnable packaging. The question whether producing beer in PET bottles would be appropriate for Protivín brewery is studied. Determining the level of services provided for brewery customers is examined. According to the results presented here, the greatest demands on services provided by breweries appeared to be those by the customers in gastronomy sphere. Based on the questionnaire investigation, the standards in providing brewing services were set together. Finally, I suggested possible improvements that should lead to cost savings, greater flexibility of operations and competitive advantages for the Protivín brewery as well as for the whole K Brewery Group.
Mental hygiene in managerial practice

This diploma thesis focuses on problems of mental hygiene in the current managerial practices. The theoretical part reveals to readers basic concepts and background to this isme for more understanding. It deals gradually with the role of mental hygiene in an individual life, self-knowledge and selfmanagement, and last but not least, managerial practice. The main practical part presents three case studies, relating to mental hygiene and its application in the world of managers. Research objective is trough a semi-structured interviews with managers to identify to which extent they apply mental hygiene in personal and professional life. After the discovery of deficiencies will attempt to find concrete advice and recommendations needed to improve some of the monitored questions. Finally will be respondents collating and analyzing each other. The main contribution of this thesis is a real insight into the life of managers and the discovery of the importance and the role attributed to mental hygiene.
