Localized oxidation of vanadium films accompanied by in-situ analysis
Spousta, Jiří ; Neuman, Jan (referee) ; Ligmajer, Filip (advisor)
Analysis of boundary conditions of biomechanical models of the lumbar spine
Kocián, Ondřej ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a research study of biomechanical models of the lumbar spine. After a brief anatomical introduction, this thesis describes the process of building computational models for finite element analysis and what material properties of individual tissues are usually reported in the analyses. Subsequently, boundary conditions, i.e. more precisely, constraints and different types of loading and their influence on the model behaviour are described in order to provide the most accurate interpretation with respect to the actual behaviour of the lumbar spine. The most accurate method of loading the spine appears to be the introduction of a force flow through the instantaneous centres of rotation of each vertebra, based on a research study. In the last section, an experimental attempt is carried out on a computational model with a single loading force changing its location in order to better interpret the positions of the instantaneous centres of rotation. This method can sufficiently approximate the force states in the contact surfaces. However, it needs to be experimentally verified.
Revitalisation of a water channel
Voženílek, Vojtěch ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the proposal of improving the current condition of the Biskupice stream and its floodplain. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The aim of the practical part is to get acquainted with the issues of watercourse revitalization and then transfer this knowledge into the design. The practical part focuses on a specific section of the Biskupice stream. It describes the site, includes hydraulic calculations in the HEC-RAS program, where the existing channel was first assessed and then the proposed one. Space is also devoted to the design of the pool system and accompanying vegetation. The work also includes drawing documentation.
Analýza malware na úrovni síťových toků
Brázda, Šimon ; Setinský, Jiří (referee) ; Poliakov, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis explores freely available datasets and investigates their applicability to training machine learning models. The ipfixprobe tool was used to extract data from the dataset and the Python language was used for further implementation. In the theoretical part, basic application protocols, network monitoring capabilities at the flow level are discussed. Furthermore, different types of malware and types of machine learning models applicable to network flow classification were discussed. Subsequently, these models were used to test the applicability of the selected dataset, which was thus validated.

The bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the proposal of a concrete model for improving the financial status of the company using mathematical methods. The proposal is based on the practical application by selected mathematical methods. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and porposal. The theoretical part is devoted to a general and non-standard approach to the use of mathematics in economics. Analytical gives an analysis of the current situation in firm and applies the selected theory in the selected business entity. The porposal part contains a proposal for an optimization model of inventory consumption and, as a result, the possibility of saving and increasing the company's solvency and recommendations for equipment renewal.
Generating non-standard packets and data flows on Ethernet networks for teaching purposes
Mošnerová, Tereza ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed at the process of generating non-standard data streams that contain hidden information. For this purpose a software called Ostinato is used. Ostinato allows to select protocols on the individual layers of the TCP/IP network model according to the needs and preferences, and moreover, data bytes can be inserted and modified arbitrarily using the HexDump fields. Various fields of the TCP/IP protocols are used to hide data on the network, transport and application layers. The generated data packets can be easily modified which enables to create several other versions of them. These can serve, for example, as a semestral project assignment for the subjects Communication Technology and Modern Communication Techniques taught at BUT. In addition, the size limits of the inserted data of the individual data packet options are tested. The functionality of the generated packets is verified by Wireshark. As a result, several .ostm and .pcapng files including a text file with their clear description are provided.

The puppet theater building in the center of Opava
Solmošiová, Sára ; Štěpán, Marek (referee) ; Sládeček, Svatopluk (advisor)
The building of the theater is not currently a stable structure; it changes based on current demands. From the beginning, I have worked with the idea of a new space for today's theater scene, not only for the specifics of puppet theater. The intention of the design is to create a space for theater professionals according to their needs, while not neglecting the aesthetics of visual and architectural requirements beyond the lapidary construction. Verticality allows for an efficient workflow. The mass of the theater building stemmed from the design of the performance space.
