The goal of this doctoral thesis is to analyse some legal, technical and economic aspects, related to the development of e-Government in the Czech Republic and to draw some general prerequisites for a successful development of e-Government services. The work contains a review of the legislation, which has a direct or indirect impact on the development of e-Government. It concerns mainly the digital signature legislation, public administration information systems, general regulations on administrative procedures and some special regulations. In this thesis there are analysed in detail currently implemented e-Government projects, especially the public administration contact points, the data inboxes, the authorized documents' conversion and the basic registers of public administration. Special attention is also devoted to the questions of personal data security in information systems. Possible effects of e-Government are evaluated with regard to recipients of public administration, particularly to citizens and legal persons. Measurable indicators (metrics) are proposed to measure the progress of individual e-Government projects, along with the procedure of their calculation. This thesis concludes that for reliable measurement of efficiency, it is necessary to identify some quantifiable indicators on the cost side as well as and on the benefits side. These indicators should be oriented to the cost aspect as well as to the specific objectives of public administration. As for the methodology, in the thesis there are used the usual methods of research in the field of legal science. Concretely used methods are the process analysis, cost analysis and metrics analysis, whose methodology is based primarily on the economics, management and information management. Furthermore, the case studies have been used to fulfil the objectives of the thesis and to verify the thesis' hypotheses.

Security of social networks
Hric, Michal ; Veber, Jaromír (advisor) ; Luc, Ladislav (referee)
Social networks represent an integral part of the personal, and in some cases, professional life of many people. The security of social networks is one of the key factors that determines its quality and credibility. The thesis analyzes security of six of most widely used social networks, with emphasis on the security of their web applications, optional security features of user accounts and privacy policies. Web application security was different for all investigated social networks. The most common deficiency was the use of SHA-1 signature algorithm, RC4 cipher support and unsupported option HSTS. Optional security features of user accounts were managed best by the first two evaluated networks (Facebook and YouTube), while other social networks provided less optional security features. Privacy policies didn't differ significantly, major differences were determinated by social network functionality. Although there are known risks related to insufficient security of social networks, even the most widely used social networks have deficiencies in this area.
Position of Statutory Bodies in Production Cooperatives
STEJSKALOVÁ, Naděžda
In 2012 a fundamental legislative change occurred and the new Civil Code and the Law on Commercial Corporations were brought into action, and thus the legal system of cooperatives was changed. This change affected an internal organisation, as well as a legal status of members of the Board of Directors, and explicitly specified a remuneration of members of statutory bodies. The position of a member of a statutory body is not and will not be easy. They can impact operation, functioning and management of cooperatives both positively and negatively, and their direct responsibility in case of failure threatens to exceed to a personal level.

Application of the law No.101/2000 Sb. about protection of name and description in practice
MAŘÍKOVÁ, Magdalena
The issue of protecting personal and sensitive datum belongs to one of the topics promoted in media in present. In diploma work I am dealing with protection name and description in health service in connection with the law No.101/2000 Sb. about protection name and description and further law and ethical questions which also concerns medical documentation and obligatory reticence for medical staff. The aim of experimental parts was to find out the informedness, attitudes and views of sample of Czech population about the protection name and description in health service in connection with the law No.101/2000 Sb. Partial the aim was to discover whether there are differences in this problem among laic and vocational public and younger and older generation of our population. I used a quantitative method of research to process experimental parts. To collect useful dates I used a method of questionnaire. This research was done from January to May 2008 and 225 informants from a laic and a vocational public took part in this research. Three defined hypothesis were checked. I think this dissertation could lead to wider discussion about other aspects of protection name and description in health service and help to improved services to informed laic and vocational public not only about the law No. 101/2000 Sb. but also about protection name and description and other questions related to medical documentation as basic sources of personal and sensitive datum of patients.
