Sales promotion of a chosen retailer
HUCL, David
The subject of the bachelor thesis "Sales promotion of the chosen retailer" is to indentify sales promotion instruments used by selected chain, analyse and compare their effectiveness and propose solution to increase the effectiveness. First, literature review was elaborated with the aim of acquiring knowledge about the issue of marketing communications, namely sales support. The on-going practical part is focused on characterization of the selected chain, identification and evaluation of the effectiveness of its current sales promotion. On this basis were suggested some possible solutions. The appropriate application will help to increase customer satisfaction, which is the basis of every successful company.

Identification of Products of Tetrapyrrole Pathway
HÁJEK, Jan
Cultivation of a model cyanobacterium Synechocystis PCC 6803 under low light conditions in the presence of glucose and TES buffer leads to a change of the medium color from colorless to yellow. The absorption spectrum of the excreted unknown compound indicated a possible relationship to plant chlorophyll degradation products. To confirm this speculation the compound was purified by a combination of solid phase extraction and HPLC. The mass and NMR characteristics excluded its close relationship to modified tetrapyrroles, nevertheless the precise structure could not be determined by these means due to a complicated nature of the compound and its high polarity.

Identification of putative circadian clock cells in a heteropteran insec, Pyrrhocoris apterus
Syrová, Zdeňka ; Hodková, Magdalena ; Doležel, David ; Šauman, Ivo
We identified per expressing cells in compound eyes, pars intercerebralis of brain and corpora cardiaca, while PDH-immunoreactivity was found in lateral neurons between central brain and compond eyes. Removal of the compound eyes resulted in a loss of the circadian rhythmicity

Identifikace vírových struktur z experimentálních dat
Šonský, Jiří ; Něnička, Václav ; Jágerská, J.
For identification of vortex structures of a heat flow in a free burning plasma jet a new method is used, which utilize fast imaging methods and computerized image processing. This method allows us to observe genesis of vortexes of a heat flow in a plasma jet, including the changes when a wall barrier is inserted in the jet. These two regimes are typical for behaviour of a plasma jet in technological applications. By varying the flow rate of working gas (argon, 15slm to 150 slm) there appear considerable changes both in time and spatial distribution of vortex fields in the two above regimes

Komparace příčin ekonomické krize ve Španělsku a Portugalsku
Novotný, Tomáš
Spain and Portugal. The main goal is the identification and comparison of possible causes of crisis in both countries. Next partial goals are the identification of the types of financial crisis occurring in these countries after the year 2008, their mu-tual comparison and effect on the origin of economic crisis. The theoretical part is dedicated to the definitions of the term "economic crisis" and types of financial crisis. The analytical part focuses on the economic development of both these countries before the year 2008 and subsequently identifies and compares the possible causes of origin of economic crisis. The final part focuses on the identification of occurring types of financial crisis, subsequent discussion of their importance and the reactions of economic policy. There is outlined the vision of next economic development and the attitude of author of the thesis.

Prevention of mistaken identity of patients in health care institution
ELICHOVÁ, Ľubica
Mistaking patients is one of the undesirable errors in health care. When disclosed, it makes the entire medical facility look bad and degrades its prestige. An individual?s error also affects the other members of the medical staff. This topic is very current, which is one of the reasons why I chose it for my bachelor?s thesis paper. Safe identification of patients is one of the principal requirements in the provision of high-quality care to patients. Failure of this requirement may lead to mistaking patients, organs, confusing which side to operate on or the surgery itself. The objective of this bachelor?s thesis paper is to identify the risk factors in the individual areas of nursing care as part of the prevention of mistaking patients and to determine what methods are most frequently used in the prevention of mistaking patients at selected hospital wards. Two hypotheses were identified. H1: The strongest risk factor increasing the probability of mistaking patients is insufficient staff-patient communication; and H2: The most frequently used method of prevention of mistaking patients is the use of identification wrist bands. The research survey was executed in the form of inquiry, using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was intended for nurses. The task of the respondents was to evaluate the risk of mistaking patients when a particular risk factor is in action. The risk factors were classified into five groups: communication, documentation administration, administering drugs, surgical procedures and patient identification. In the following part of the survey I determined the methods of prevention of mistaking patients that the respondents most often use in their work. The assessment of the individual statements concerning the issue in question did not confirm Hypothesis 1. The questioned nurses think that communication among staff is the strongest risk factor (mean: 3.96). The strongest risk factor ? failure to provide information about patients ? was found in the field of communication between the nurse and the physician and between the nurses. Hypothesis 2 was confirmed. According to the answers supplied by the nurses, identification wrist bands are the most frequently used method in the field of the prevention of mistaking patients (mean: 4.83). The second most frequently used method of the prevention of mistaking patients is the use of active verbal identification (mean: 4.59). The results of the survey were submitted to the Regional Hospital in Pardubice in the form of a summary chart. The chart contains the strongest risk factors of mistaking patients and preventive mechanisms leading to their reduction. The survey aims to contribute to the elimination of risk factors of mistaking patients and thus increase the safety of patients when hospitalised.

The automatic identification technologies usage for company management
