Topical issues of the regulation of international air transport
Škodová, Pavla ; Brodec, Jan (referee) ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor)
I Recent Issues of Regulation of International Carriage by Air Summary The purpose of my thesis is the analysis of regulation of international carriage by air where currently co-exist two regimes based on different international conventions. The Warsaw Convention was the first instrument that unified body of rules governing the international carriage by air, especially the most important areas: the arrangement of documents of carriage and the carrier's liability. Its most significant feature is the limited liability for sustained damages in case of death, wounding or any other bodily injury of passengers, in addition based on fault. It has been considered as deeply protective to air carriers. The only character in favor of passengers is the shifted burden of proof so that the airlines are presumed liable unless they can meet the necessary measures standards. Huge discontent with this regulation led to entering into arrangements that modified the Warsaw Convention. Non-uniformity of this regime has been the cause of adoption of new Montreal Convention which incorporates most of relevant norms contained in arrangements which modified the Warsaw Convention. Thus the Montreal convention contains some provisions of the Guatemala Protocol, the Guadalajara Convention and Montreal Protocols III and IV. The new...

The aim of the thesis is to describe the historical development of the system input-output tables in the Czech Republic. The first part is focused on important personalities who influenced the development of the system input-output tables, the historical development of national accounting standards in terms of input-output tables and also the construction and use of input-output tables. The second part focuses on the practical use of symmetric input-output tables. Includes general formulas, which are calculated according to various analyzes. In this part the simple input-output analysis examines the scenario increased investment in construction products using symmetric input-output tables compiled according to different standards.

The Study of Systém and Process optimization of Service operation
Prokeš, Viktor ; Havlásek, Roman (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.

Orienteering club support system
Buk, Jindřich ; Vojíř, Stanislav (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee)
Nowadays, an increasing number of processes and life situations is getting IT support. Often the use of the Internet aims to accelerate and simplify existing processes. In addition, there is a big area of social networking that can be complementary. This thesis deals with the possibilities of using web technologies to support the running of a club and its subsequent development. Indeed, the club has the potential to simplify and automate many processes which previously have been carried out by someone in person. It has also a potential to use social networks for its publicity and development. The aim is to first determine what areas of the clubs operations are the most appropriate to be supported by any information system. Another objective is to find out how other clubs already integrate any information systems. The final objective is to design and create a specific application. The first two objectives are addressed through a survey among the leaders of the biggest Czech clubs. Indeed in these clubs, the use of automation and simplification of existing processes could have a great potential. The proposal for a specific application is then based on the previous survey and the field experience of the author. While serving many existing processes in running the club, the proposed application adds many elements of social networking.

Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) of 4-seat aircraft
Jakl, Jan ; Weisman, Andrej (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
At the beginning this master's thesis includes of a comprehensive review of aircraft accidents in this category, 2-6-digit aircraft for passenger transport. Since this work focused on autopilot, so naturally there is a basic overview of most common autopilots, which can be found in these aircraft now, but in the future. Functional hazard analysis (FHA) for the 4-seater plane for passenger services primarily investigates cases of catastrophic malfunction, which in most cases accompanied by the likelihood taken from different databases. The airplane, which is created for this analysis will preferably equipped with instruments for IFR flights. There is also a brief overview of the regulations necessary for the installation of these systems in the airplane. At the end of this work is to design the dashboard, a design layout of equipment for future aircraft, with an emphasis on maximum transparency.

The application of art activities focusing on the development of personality of people in custodial sentence

Based on the application of these sets of activities and their consequent evaluation, I am obliged to observe the real possibility of fine art inclusion in didactic projects to individuals in correctional facility.

Effect of noise pollution on selected species of cetaceans
Burgerová, Anna ; Petrtýl, Miloslav (advisor) ; Kuříková, Pavlína (referee)
Sound in water tends to travel much faster than in air. Cetaceans started to use the hearing system as a tool for their communication and so this system must have been adapted during the evolution. Every species form his specific sound repertoire which is used mainly for food finding, detection of predator or other hazards, communication and reproduction. Ocean ambient noise is created by natural sources of sound and man-made sounds (also called as anthropogenic sounds). Natural sounds are produced by marine organisms and processes like earthquakes, rainfall and so on. Anthropogenic sounds are made by man either intentionally or unintentionally and these sounds mostly disrupt the oceanic environment. Sound frequency and intensity level are the main factors when we determine the intensity of distortion in communication of Cetaceans. The most detrimental sounds are those with low frequency (from 10 to 500 Hz) and long-ranged propagation (hundreds of kilometers). Into this category we can include shipping and seismic surveys. In general, the most of anthropogenic sources of noise belong to this category. Other sources of anthropogenic noise are industrial activities, military sonar and acoustic deterrent and harassment devices (ADDs/AHDs). Responses of Cetaceans to anthropogenic noise can be divided into three categories: physiological, behavioral and acoustic. The physiological reaction can be increasing metabolism, increasing baseline concentration of glucocorticoids in the blood and ultimately reducing immunity. Behavioral responses include changes in heading patterns and swim speed, changes in diving and breathing. Also included are social activities like food finding or nursing. Every change in vocalization represents acoustic responses. With growing number of studies which prove a negative influence of anthropogenic noise on Cetaceans there is an increasing need to introduce effective measures which could reduce or limit this negative influence. For this purpose there are established marine protected areas and safety zones which avoid exposure to loud noise (circa 120 dB and more) thanks to their regulations. As well there was developed a technology to modify the ship equipment and the using of an air bubble curtain in the immediate area of the industrial activity shows efficiency in acoustic attenuation.
