The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The diploma thesis focuses on the performance evaluation of the selected company XYZ, s. r. o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The thesis includes three main parts. In the theoretical part, basic terms and knowledge are defined, which are important for the development of the analytical and proposal part. The analytical part deals with the introduction of the company and the analysis of the current state. This includes evaluating the financial situation and carrying out a strategic analysis of the selected company. The last part of the thesis is focused on the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method, while recommendations and suggestions for improving the company's performance are proposed here, which are based on theoretical knowledge and the analytical part of the thesis.

Implementation of Electronic Financial Control into the BUT IS

The goal of this work is to design and implement modules for the Brno University of Technology (BUT) Information System for financial control management for all parts of BUT. Electronic financial control has already been partially developed within the BUT Information System, but it is still in progress and has numerous shortcomings. The development of new modules or the modification of existing modules is aimed at addressing these shortcomings and creating a suitable system for employees in all parts of BUT. Selected technologies at BUT, including the PHP programming language and development platforms Zend and Nette, are used for the implementation.

Financial Analysis of Construction Company

The bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of a selected construction company and comparison of its financial indicators with the national averages in the construction industry in the Czech Republic. Due to the economic and political turbulence of recent years, including the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical conflicts, the construction industry is a sector that exhibits significant financial fluctuations. This paper identifies and analyses the key financial ratios that affect the stability and performance of construction enterprises and uses various financial analysis methods, such as ratio ratios and horizontal and vertical analysis, to assess the financial health of the selected enterprise. The results are then compared with sector averages to determine the enterprise's position in the market. The paper provides insight into the financial management capability of the group and contributes to a better understanding of the challenges facing the sector.

Mobile Application For Personal Finance Management

The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and development of a cross-platform application for personal finance management. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first one describes the theoretical background of personal finance, financial management and technologies for the development of cross-platform applications. The second part includes an analysis of the current state of the mobile operating system market, an analysis of existing solutions and an analysis of trends in mobile applications. Based on these analyses, functional and non-functional requirements are determined, and SWOT analysis is developed. The last section describes the implementation of the application, its different parts, and database. The thesis concludes with the monetization of the application, economic evaluation, and planned extensions of the application.

Improving Business Performance

This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of financial performance of trade cooperative Konzum in Ústí nad Orlicí from economic year 2017 to economic year 2021. The work itself is divided in to the three following chapters. First chapter studies theoretical knowledge from performance to special system indicatiors of financial analysis. Second chapter characterize studied subject and evaluate financial performance with individual instruments of finacial analysis. Third chapater introduce intended proposal, which will lead to improvement of financial performance in the upcoming economic years.

Finance Management Model of Company and His Efficient Implementation

The aim of this dissertation is to design finance management model and then to test it in real company operated in field of facility management (property and asset management in the field of real estate’s). Designed model works with instruments of financial analysis and investment management. Key hypothesis of the model tells that return on equity should by higher or equal in comparison to weighted average cost of capital. This hypothesis is used not only for effective financial management of the company but also for its smaller units (business centres). Part of the dissertation is definition how to implement and use the model (31 steps for the implementation). Designed model (and hypothesis as well) is verified on the case study.
