Application for Risk Management Reporting in SAP

The main prupose of this thesis is to develop an application for Risk Management Reporting using the latest technologies provided by SAP. The first part of the paper is desrcibing the theory of Governance, Risk and Compliance Management. It is analyzing the definition of the concept and mentioning key challenges that companies need to deal with today. Then the most complex GRC software solutions are listed and compared to each other. After the relevant SAP technologies are introduced, the development of the application itself is described. Firstly, the data structure of the standard solution was analyzed, then new data structure was designed and validated. The developed application is able to fetch the correct data from the database and display them accordingly.

This thesis discusses the in-memory database called SAP HANA. It describes in detail the architecture and new technologies used in this type of database. The next section presents a comparison of speed of the inserting and selecting data from the database with existing relational database MaxDB. For the purposes of this testing I created a simple application in ABAP language, which allows user to perform and display their results. These are summarized in the last chapter and demonstrate SAP HANA as clearly faster during selection of data, but comparable, or slower when inserting data into the database. I see contribution of my work in the summary of significant changes that come with data stored in the main memory and brings comparison of speed of basic types of queries.

Sociální sítě v podnikové praxi a problematika jejich implementace

Cílem této práce je poskytnou vhled do problematiky podnikových sociálních sítí jako nástrojů typu ESN (Enterprise Social Network), dalších kolaborativních nástrojů a nástrojů sociální interakce, které mohou jejich uživatelům usnadnit jednotlivé pracovní úkony a zároveň tak přispívat k celkovému zvýšeni efektivity společnosti. Dále pak nabídnout seznámení s jejich nabízenými funkcemi a vlastnostmi, robustnostní a jednoduchostí, výhodami a nevýhodami. Zároveň nabízí praktický návod jak postupovat při implementaci podnikové sociální sítě, či jiného nástroje sociální interakce v praxi a čeho se zároveň vyvarovat. Celá práce je koncipována do tří částí, které jsou logicky propojeny. První část je teoretickou, kde je probrána základní problematika sociálních sítí jako takových. V druhé části je probrán pojem podnikových sociálních sítí, problematika jejich implementace a zároveň jsme seznámeni hlavními produkty na trhu. Třetí částí je vyhodnocení průzkumu o využívání sociálních sítí v podnikové praxi. Práce tak přináší komplexní náhled do problematiky podnikových sociálních sítí a jejich implementace.

Hodnocení kvality informačních zdrojů v prostředí Internetu

Záměrem této práce je poukázat na to, s jakými informacemi můžeme denně přicházet do styku, na jejich kvalitu, důvěryhodnost a jakým způsobem nebo podle jakých kritérií tyto vlastnosti hodnotit. Zaměřuje se především na informační zdroje, které jsou prezentovány prostřednictví sítě internet. Práce se skládá ze čtyř kapitol, přičemž dvě z nich jsou považovány za stěžejní. Jsou to kapitoly s názvem Etika v informačních zdrojích a Hodnocení kvality informačních zdrojů. V první ze jmenovaných kapitol jsou vymezeny povinnosti a pravomoci účastníků práce s informacemi, dopady při porušování informační etiky apod. Hlavním přínosem kapitoly zabývající se hodnocením je představení kritérií, která by nám měla usnadnit hodnocení kvality informačních zdrojů v prostředí internetu. V závěru této práce je uvedeno vyhodnocení průzkumu, který měl za cíl zjistit jak je veřejnost obeznámena s tématy daných kapitol.
