Limits in working with patients with an addiction problem in the practice of general practitioners in Prague
Němec, Radek ; Volfová, Anna (advisor) ; Šťastná, Lenka (referee)
Backround: Practitioners who do not have in-depth knowledge in the field of addictionology come into contact with patients in their practice who may have or already have an addiction problem. This patient is often accompanied by stigma and taboo, and even at a professional level it is often difficult to address the addiction problem. Doctors are obliged to map the problem and provide help in the form of a brief intervention and can thus motivate their patient to seek professional help. There are both barriers and supportive factors in the situation of initiating and conducting a conversation about addiction with a patient. Aims: The aim is to map the limits in working with patients with addiction problems from the perspective of a general practitioner. To describe and understand the limits of working with patients with addiction problems in GP practices in Prague. The sub-objectives are to focus on the qualitative characteristics of the physician's contact with the addictological patient and to identify the physicians' needs for improving the quality of cooperation with this target group. Methods: The thesis is qualitative in nature with the choice of data collection using semi-structured interviews. The research sample consists of 12 respondents who meet the given criteria. The data is then...
Process optimalization in connection with information system implementation in a selected company
NĚMEC, Radek
This thesis deals with a company management theory and a subsequent analysis of the company processes. Requirements arisen from this analysis will serve as a baseline for developing of a new information system in a selected company. An important step is to explain the term management and its types, followed by an explanation of the functional and process approach and their comparison. Then I purely pursue the process approach, where related terms are given. Information systems are also often used to support this approach, so their basic characteristics, architecture and life cycle are summarized. The main goal of my work is to introduce the selected company and to carry out a detailed analysis of the business processes, where I select processes that can be streamlined using an information system. The company does not use any management system, so I have decided to create one. The development lasted less than three months and the work shows and briefly describes the main functions of the program. Above all, this system allows to keep records of fish, feeding, profit and loss results and many other functions to simplify the selected processes. Finally, the performance of the introduced system is evaluated and the question of use in other companies is also addressed. The work provides a basic overview of how corporate management is constantly evolving and how it is possible to automate certain processes using information systems and thus achieve better results.
Development of secondary addiction in the period of abstinence from the user's point of view
Němec, Radek ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Matoušek, Petr (referee)
Background: Treatment of addiction during the period of abstinence from the primary drug is often complicated by the development of secondary addiction. Understanding the recurring pattern of behavior of such an addicted individual on a theoretical level supports a unified theory of addiction and from a practical point of view can represent effective help and hope for addicts. The shift of addiction from one behavior addiction to another one is not yet theoretically sufficiently described. Aims: The aim of the research is to describe the development of secondary addiction in the period of abstinence from the user's point of view. Whether and under what circumstances he perceives the onset of addictive behavior. What are the causes of development and how similar is the onset of behavior with the primary diagnosed addiction. Methods: This is a case study of a single purposefully selected person who developed secondary addiction after overcoming primary addiction. The data were created by a narrative unstructured interview (life story), systematized and subsequently interpreted according to the available professional literature. Results: The Thesis mapped the use of respondent development of their addictive behavior, which begins after abstinence. The results lead to professional knowledge in the...
A System For Controlling A Computer Presentation Using Gestures
Němec, Radek
This paper focuses on the design of a device and gestures for contactless control of thecomputer presentation. The key elements for this work are the development board ESP32 and IMUsensor BNO055. The goal is to connect the board, sensor and power supply on a printed circuit boardand develop an appropriate software in Arduino IDE containing the Bluetooth communicationbetween the microcontroller and the computer. In this paper, the general overview of the solution ispresented as well as the communication and two gestures which has been already implemented. The results are evaluated and future improvements are discussed.
A system for controlling a computer presentation using gestures
Němec, Radek ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis attempts with the design of a device for contactless control of the computer presentation. In the first part there are theoretically described the methods of contactless computer control. The second part is focused on the description of different types of sensors and also the key elements for this thesis – the development board TinyPICO ESP32 and sensor BNO055. Finally, in the third part there is described the design of the device and gestures.
Delta 3D Printer Construction With 32-Bit Electronics
Němec, Radek
This paper deals with the construction of delta 3D printer, including all necessary peripherals. Paper mentions benefits of delta 3D printers in comparison with the most common cartesian type of 3D printers. The main part of this paper is about created 3D model of delta 3D printer with all its components which includes 32-bit electronics controlling board used for this printer.
Detection of pathologies in ECG signals
Němec, Radek ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Kašpar, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis attempts with methods for detection of pathologies in ECG signals. The first part is focused on the basic theory of heart anatomy, electrocardiography and individual heart pathologies. The second part describes the preprocessing of ECG signals, detection of QRS complexes and detection of individual pathologies. In the third part the detector is being tested on CSE database and my own measured data.
Delta type of 3D printer
Němec, Radek ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis is about design and construction of FDM delta 3D printer which consists of 32-bit electronics, magnetics printer head and other necessary peripheries. Opening chapters of this thesis are about theory of 3D printing and its methods with description of FDM 3D printers and summarization of FDM plastic materials used for 3D printing. The next part is about used electronics and problematic of heat transfer. The main part of this thesis describes design and construction of 3D printer and its necessary peripheries, which includes creation of its 3D model and application for 32bit controller. 3D model of delta 3D printer and its heating components was created in CAD software SolidWorks. The last part includes description of commissioning and calibration of delta 3D printer with summarization of economic aspects of its creation.

The Castor Bean Tick (Ixodes ricinus) in Education
Němec, Radek ; Říhová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
The aim of this work is to point out the interconnectedness of human life with parasitic organisms, especially with the Castor bean tick (Ixodes ricinus). This tick forms an integral part of our rich invertebrate fauna and has become an increasingly frequent interest of media in the last few decades. This thesis attempts to bring closer the relationship between tick and man from different perspectives, and to reveal essence as well as pitfalls of tick life. For many people, this arthropod represents an insurmountable resource of aversion and fear. Hence, an integral part of the thesis is the introduction of prevention methods and treatment of parasitic diseases transmitted by the tick, as well as monitoring of new trends in the therapy and development of vaccines. Also, the text offers a proposal how to bring the tick closer to the pupils in teaching Biology. KEYWORDS The Castor bean tick, parasite-host relationship, life cycle, encephalitis, borreliosis, collection methods
