Outsourcing of Print Services and Management of ICT Services

In my thesis, I will focus on outsourcing the way it may be applied from global perspective. I will precisely define specific types of outsourcing, it`s versatility and summarize current trends in outsourcing business. Besides outsourcing, focus has also been put on managed service known as managed ICT services. Looking into these, particular interest is given to outsourcing of printing services and managed desktop services. As a result, deep dive into current situation of a concrete company was done, listing analysis of actual printing devices and desktop devices, ending with closing summary recommending the best way to implement new solution and smart ways of financing.

Study of hydroenergy potential exploitation of given location

For the objective of my Bachelor`s thesis I chose an assessment of hydropower potential and a design of machinery in the small hydropower plant construction on the river Váh in Trenčianske Biskupice site. I divided hydropower potential into three parts. First part is the past then present and last is future status. I have subsequently used these information in the design of machinery, including turbine and its associated penstock and draft tube. Part of my thesis also contains appropriate design solution for control gate of intake and outflow, trash rack and trash rack machine. I prepared and presented two possible alternatives together with the drawing documentation which are at the end of my paper compared and evaluated.

Assessment of hedge fund replication strategies

Hedžové fondy sú investičné nástroje, ktoré poskytujú spoľahlivú rizikovo upravenú výkonnosť v rozličných obdobiach trhového cyklu, a ktoré nie sú príliš korelované s trhmi na ktorých obchodujú. Výnosy hedžových fondov boli po dlhé obdobie prístupné len bohatým jednotlivcom alebo inštitucionálnym investorom, ktorý by mohli odolať možným negatívnym efektom z poklesu hodnoty fondu. Nedávny vývoj tohto priemyslu však smeruje k využívaniu výnosov hedžových fondov širším okruhom investorov. Preto sa množstvo databáz hedžových fondov a investičných bánk rozhodlo vytvoriť rozličné indexy a klony hedžových fondov, ktoré budú replikovať ich investície s menšími poplatkami a menšími potrebnými vkladmi. Naša analýza ukázala, že vývoj takýchto produktov sa posunul do sľubnejších stupňov, keď sa začínajú využívať nové prístupy replikácie výnosov hedžových fondov. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Time, plan and market

Hlavnou témou tejto práce je objasnenie procesu rozhodovania jednotlivca v čase, ktoré je na záver zapojené do trhového systému, v ktorom sa stretáva množstvo jednotlivcov, ktorí sa simultánne rozhodujú. Základné princípy rozhodovania obsiahnuté v tejto práci vychádzajú z diela G. L. S. Shackla, ktorého hlavné charakteristiky sú okamihovosť a neistota spojená s plynutím času. Preto proces rozhodovania jednotlivca prebieha v daný okamih prostredníctvom vytvárania si predstáv o možných budúcich výsledkoch konania. Pri vytváraní týchto predstáv jednotlivec vychádza z okamihových a apriórnych predstáv, ktoré reprezentujú popis fungovania systému. Jednotlivec sa ďalej rozhoduje uvalením očakávaní o udelením budúcej hodnoty na predstavované výsledky. Keďže však každý jednotlivec žije v spoločnosti zloženej z veľkého množstva jednotlivcov, dochádza tu k šíreniu vedomostí a očakávaní prostredníctvom uskutočňovania plánov a cenových mechanizmov. Každý jednotlivec tak dokáže získať dostatočné množstvo vedomostí na to, aby sa mohol v tomto komplexnom systéme meniacom sa vplyvom plynutia času cieľavedome rozhodnúť.
