The Italian state's fight against Cosa Nostra and Camorra

The bachelor thesis "The Italian state's fight against Cosa Nostra and Camorra" deals with the Italian state's response to the activities of the mafia organizations Cosa Nostra and Camorra. The thesis focuses mainly on the period from the late 1980s to the present day. From the 1980s onwards, the Italian state began to enforce major steps in anti-mafia legislation, creating a more comprehensive legislative framework to limit the power and influence of the Italian mafia. The fight against the Italian mafia became one of the priorities of the governments at that time. However, due to the different state approach to the two organizations and their characteristics, such as their internal structure or their relationship with the Italian state, the Italian state was not able to achieve comparable results. The aim of this thesis will be to use a comparative analysis to evaluate data on the success of anti-mafia measures and the level of involvement of the Italian state in the fight against the two organizations, in order to reveal the reasons for the different results achieved by the Italian state since the late 1980s. Proposal for the effectiveness of work in the organization culture

This bachelor thesis describes problems of development and pottering of organization culture in IVes, spol. s r.o. This work is based on assigned hypothesis of particular problems that relate to the organization culture. A description of activities of the company is included. In this essay an actual quality of the organization culture will be researched. The results of the survey will form suggestions, that will lead to raising efficiency and quality of work in the company.

Center of water skiing Soběslav

The thesis is focused of proposal and procesing of project documentation Center for waterskiing. The proposed object is located in the western part of the town Soběslav, in the locality aimed at sports activities. The building is created of facilities for summer sports, especially water skiing and wakeboarding. Further there will be built a playground for ball sports and track on roller skates. This is a three-storey no with a cellar object with a flat roof. The object is based on the foundation reinforced concrete pads a strips. The first floor is bricked of permanent formwork and partly of cast in place structure. The second and third floors is designed of clay blocks POROTHERM. This masonry is insulated with the aid of external contact thermal insulation. In the western part of the building is designed ventilated facade. The floor structures is designed from prestressed reinforced concrete panel SPIROLL and partly from reinforced concrete slabs. The object is divided into several operating units. They are the gym and its facilities, restaurant with kitchen, facilities for employees and the necessary storerooms, coffeehouse, shop with sporting equipment, rental equipment for water skiing and a dressing room serving the outdoor sports. The essential part of the second floor is comprised outdoor terrace. From this terrace is allowed entry to the coffeehouse, restaurants, shops and on the main staircase.

Two-stroke Engine Pre-ignition Controller with Microcontroller

This paper deals with the problem of two-stroke engine pre-ignition controller with the use of microcontroller for single-cylinder engine and double-cylinder engine. The mechanical design is drawn for motorcycles JAWA and ČZ and for engines of the same mechanical type. The establishment uses non-contact status analysis of engine with non-electric sensor. The very important thing for the design is the simplicity of the establishment. The other important thing is the minimisation of mechanical arrangement of engine and the vehicle as a whole. The importance of this establishment is non-contact switching and the possibility of changing pre-ignition maps depending on the number of rotations per minute, the temperature and the load of the engine.

This master’s thesis gives a development proposal for XYZ, s.r.o. The line of business of this firm is mainly a passenger transportation service by client’s own vehicle. The thesis contains a theoretical review of running a small business, providing a customer service and making a business plan. The development proposal itself provides a highly professional analysis of up to date status of the firm and gives a specific business development programme for the company. Implementation of the proposal will ensure a future growth and also the firm’s profit will increase.

The first part of this thesis defines the theoretical concepts needed to be dealt with in respect of this issue. Part two contains a current state analysis of family business Víno Pokorný and the last part of this thesis presents development stratégy plans for the family business, based on the business current state analysis.
