Methodology of investigating drug crimes with a focus on production of methamphetamine Abstract This thesis deals with methodology of investigating drug crimes with a focus on production of methamphetamine. Considering the complexity of the mentioned topic, it takes into account substantive and procedural criminal law, criminalistics, criminology and addictology. In the first chapter, in addition to describing the forms, effects and methods of methamphetamine production, with an emphasis on the Czech way of methamphetamine production, the historical genesis of the problem is also presented. The second chapter defines the terms small-scale production, medium-level production and large-scale production in order to increase legal certainty. The thesis draws inspiration from the current methodology of the National Drug Headquarters and the United Nations. This part of thesis also includes a statistical section dealing with the structure of drug crime in terms of prosecutions and seized clandestine laboratories. The third chapter describes a typical drug offender. The offenders are divided according to their level of professionalism into three groups: amateur, semi-professional and professional. Attorney's remuneration in relation to the costs of the proceedings Abstract This master's thesis focuses on the topic of methods of determining the attorney's remuneration for his provision of legal services, the relationship of this remuneration to the compensation for the costs of civil proceedings and a collision of Section 149 subsection 1 of the Act No. 99/1963 Coll., Act on Code of Civil Procedure with Section 10 subsection 6 of the Resolution of Board of the Czech Bar Associaton No. 1/1997 Bulletin laying down the rules of professional ethics and rules of competition for attorneys in the Czech Republic (Code of Ethics) and it was to understand this conflict that the aforementioned institutes had to be explained. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with contractual attorney's fees, their types and the sources of this method of determining attorney's fees. The subsections of this chapter also introduce the pro bono institute and the recent case law of the CJEU concerning the conditions for determining the contractual remuneration of an attorney providing legal services to a consumer. Suggestions for Teaching the Topic Water at Lower-secondary School

The work deals with current trends in the didactics of the educational field of Man and Nature, especially project-based teaching and the integration of science subjects. The goal of the thesis is to design and evaluate teaching that is devoted to the topic of Water in various thematic areas of the cross-cutting topic of Environmental Education, using different teaching methods. The evaluation takes place on the basis of reflections from pupils and other pedagogues and, in addition to suggestions for methods, forms and organization of teaching, monitors the fulfillment of cognitive and affective goals. The results show that the educational goals were fulfilled with the help of this lesson. At the end, specific proposals are formulated for improving and streamlining the entire teaching.

Parasitostatus of red deer population in Krkonoše (Czech Republic) a results of antiparasitic control

THE ABSTRACT The thesis: Parasitostatus of red deer population in Krkonoše (Czech Republic) and results of antiparasitic control Made by: Vojtěch Vávra The thesis deals with the occurrence of endoparasites in red deer population, held in selected overwintering enclosures in Krkonoše Mountains - in Bílá Voda, Hlušiny and Michlův Mlýn. During winter season 2007/08 samples of faeces were collected in these enclosures, which were consequently examined larvoscopically in a quantitative and qualitative way and ovoscopically in a qualitative way. During this season anthelmintic treatment Cermix a. u. v. was applied as well. In pre-treatment samples high prevalence of Elaphostrongylus cervi was found, in 85,1 % of samples. The treatment efficacy was set in enclosures Bílá Voda and Michlův Mlýn. In Bílá Voda the efficacy reaches 43,2 % and in enclosure Michlův Mlýn reaches 86,1%.

Pneumonematodoses of Red Deer Population and Results of its Control in Specific Overwintering Enclosure

The thesis: Pneumonematodoses of red deer population and results of its control in specific overwintering enclosure Made by: Vojtěch Vávra The thesis deals with a description of specific pneumonematodoses in red deer population, held in Pádolí overwintering enclosure (Orlické hory). The thesis is also focused on nematodoses of this population present during winter season 2009/10, thein treatment (Vermitan 20% premix, a. u. v.) and evaluation of treatment efficacy. During winter season 2009/10 samples of faeces were repeatedly collected and examined larvoscopically for nematodes in a quantitative and qualitative way. In pre-treatment samples Elaphostrongylus cervi and Varestrongylus sagittatus were found with positive prevalence reaching 92 % and 30 %. Post-treatment samples also contain larvae of E. cervi and V. sagittatus, their prevalence rates are lowest shortly after treatment and rise in latter samples. The efficacy of albendazole in treating pneumonematodoses was evaluated insufficient.

Functional role of purinergic P2X receptors in the supraoptic nuclei of the rat and structure-function relations of recombinant P2X receptors.

Purinergic P2X receptors are non-selective cationic channels gated by extracellular ATP. Up to now, seven mammalian subunits, termed P2X1-X7, have been cloned and characterized. These receptors comprise a new membrane channel family with distinct structural and functional features. P2X receptors take part in a signalling network called "purinergic signalling" which is widely exploited in both somatic and neuronal tissues. In the central nervous system, they are highly expressed in the hypothalamus and hypophysis, where they participate in the regulation of homeostatic and reproductional functions. The main focus of my Thesis is on the expression and functional role of P2X receptors in supraoptic nuclei of the rat hypothalamus. These nuclei contain two populations of magnocellular neurons which produce either oxytocin or arginine-vasopressin. Delivery of the hormones into the systemic blood relies on the electrical activity of supraoptic neurons, which is in turn governed by the incomming synaptic inputs. It has been recently shown, that the process of hormone release from supraoptic neurons is regulated by extracellular ATP. Potential synergies in suicide prevention interventions in Czechia

In this bachelor thesis the author discusses the synergistic effect of suicide prevention interventions in the Czech Republic and the view experts have on these interventions. This work thus provides an overview of how the interaction of different interventions is mapped and what is known about it, while also providing insights into the prevention of suicide in the Czech Republic overall. Attention is also paid to what the literature says about this interaction, which is used as part of a non-systematic research involving basic knowledge about the issue of suicide. The theoretical part focuses on bringing the reader up to date with the theoretical basis of this work, the research carried out, and the basic concepts with which this work operates. In practical part, the author focuses on his qualitative research, which provides answers to research questions, and in which the primary data was obtained by means of semi-structured interviews conducted with experts in the field of study; this work is then framed by secondary data, which consists of scientific literature and direct policy formulations in the form of public policy papers. Problematic aspects of satisfaction of creditors' claims in debt relief

The diploma thesis deals with the current legislation of debt relief - as one of three types of insolvency proceedings, in which the situation of person, who has been declared insolvent, in compliance with Czech insolvency law can be resolved - as well as of the satisfaction of creditors' claims within these proceedings. Especially it is focused on problematic issues, that occur during the realisation phase of debt relief and for that the insolvency law does not give an explicit answer. First, the thesis deals with debt relief in theoretical view and provides a comprehensive overview of claims, which are in these proceedings satisfied and which ones are not, and their classification in according to succession, in that they are satisfied. This chapter is particularly focused on claims, which are secured by assets belonging to the insolvency estate, and subordinate claims, which can be satisfied, only when all other debts have been paid, and problems related to it. Second, the thesis describes the election procedure, within creditors choose a part of insolvency estate, which will be used for satisfaction of their claims, depending on debtor's assets and expected future earnings, and tries to answer a question, which type of majority of (unsecured) creditors is required to adopt a resolution on how to resolve...
