Self-priming pump

Diploma thesis is focused on self-priming pump 25 - OVE Sigma pumpy Hranice s.r.o., for its function is essential the ejector which is placed in the body of the pump. On the basis of the results of measurements there are designed construction modifications using a mathematical model. For the first time were made measurements to verify the self-priming capability with determining the maximum suction height.

The work will evaluate the possibilities of new e-Commerce company portal development and it’s design, including on-line connection with ERP system of the company SAP Business One. The result of this work will be a recommended proposal of the best and as well as cost friendly solution for the company.

WRC Specification Cars

In this bachelor’s thesis are introduced and briefly described the most important functional parts of WRC specification sport car in light of constructional solutions, specialities and differences from stock produced car. The car is primary designed for racing in World Rally Championship under the auspices of International Automobile Federation FIA. Finally is shortly outlined possible future evolution of this motorsport category.

Urban viaduct in Povazska Bystrica

The content of the diploma thesis is design urban bridge in Považská Bystrica. From three possible options was selected one, which represents cable stayed bridge-extradosed with four spans. This selected option was elaborated in detail in this diploma thesis. Design procedures and assessments were performed to comply with ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to valid europeans standarts. The calculation model was performed in program Midas Civil in logitudinal axis and in SCIA Engineer in transversal axis. Structural assessment were done manually. The part of the diploma thesis are detailed drawings and visualizations.

Prestressed bridge No. 202 on the expressway R2 in Slovakia

My diploma thesis deals with design of the bridge number 202 on expressway in Slovakia. The bridge leads across the road number I50 (between Trenčín and Bánovce nad Bebravou) and railway number 130 (between Trenčín and Chynorany). For each course there is a separate super-structure. Only left super-structure is considered for the work. The box girder with four spans is chosen from three variations. This bridge is designed according to limit states, construction´s influence on design is taking into consideration. Structural model of construction is made as a spatial bar model. Structural analysis, well arranged drawings and visualization are elaborated in this thesis too.

Trailer frame PILLAR for transport concrete pillars

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the construction of a trailer used for transporting concrete pillars. The main part of the thesis is focused on frame construction. For the calculation of load states a multi body system was used, whereby a simulation of transport in terrain was performed. The results from these calculations will be used as limiting conditions for strength control. The method of solution is the finite element method. All acquired results will be analysed and according to them changes will be made to the frame construction. In addition to this, the thesis contains drawings documenting the above-mentioned changes.

The ARKOV Logistic Processes Optimization Proposal

The intent of diploma thesis is to propose the optimization of current logistic processes with utilization of modern information technology. The work will propose the tool for stock classiffication, further evaluates the options of the warehouse management system implementation, including on-line connection to SAP Business One ERP system, and proposes its utilization in optimization of company’s business processes. The result of this work is the recommended proposal of the best and as well as cost friendly solution for company ARKOV, Ltd.

Synthesis of deuterium-labelled N-methyl-4-methylpyridinium dihydrogen phosphate

The content of presented bachelor thesis is the preparation of dihydrogenphosphate of deuterium marked N-methyl-4-methylpyridinium for its future study by the neutron spectroscopy. By the neutron spectroscopy will be studied mechanism of proton conductivity of this salt. Precursors of the organic cation were deuterated several different ways. As the most efficient was evaluated deuteration in repeatedly exchanged solution of potassium carbonate and sodium hydroxide in heavy water. Efficiency of deuteration was measured by IR spectroscopy, 1H and 2H NMR spectroscopy.
