The thesis presents a proposal for revitalization and revitalization of the brownfield area of the Zoological Garden in Dvůr Králové nad Labem by inserting a new polyfunctional pavilion. The new building will provide the garden with a wider platform for environmental enlightment, educational activities and representation. The Master´s thesis also outlines the solution of another unused area and its connection to the area of main interest.

Old - new urban spa

The bachelor thesis covers the restoration of a functionalist monument. The main idea was to preserve and restore the original function of the city spa buit by Bohuslav Fuchs, which is done in the modification by including wellness facilities. There is a new solitaire in the form of the game pavilion, which expands the activities of the swimming pool.

Polarization of Czech society in the view of the president in 1990-2017

This diploma thesis deals with political polarization of Czech society regarding the trust in all presidents from 1990 till today. It introduces the term 'political polarization' and its main research areas, especially various aspects of the electorate polarization. The thesis describes theories of voters' polarization, the specific relationship between polarization and ideological consistency, and topics of the polarizing influence of presidents, mass media and electoral process. The empirical section analyses the development of people's polarization in terms of trusting presidents and determines whether the groups declaring strong trust and distrust show specific sociodemographic characteristics, political orientation and political engagement. Datasets from The Public Opinion Research Centre's survey Our Society between the years 1990 and 2017 were used.

Divorce in the 21st century

This bachelor thesis deals with divorce and the history of divorce situation till the beginning of the 21st century. It describes the essential divorce problem areas, lists both negative and positive divorce consequences, specific effects of divorce on children, historical evolvement of legal regulations of divorce and their present-day form and current development trends in the Czech Republic. Empirical part of the thesis analyses opinion shifts on family and divorce in Czech population between years 1991 and 2008 and social heredity of divorce behaviour and alternative attitudes towards family and marriage based on the data from 2008.

The Effect of Vojta's Reflex Locomotion on the Stability of Patients with Hereditary Polyneuropathy

This thesis deals with the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on stability of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. In the review of knowledges there is presented the part about hereditary neuropathies, it's classification, clinical symptoms and diagnostics. The second part of the review is about the stability and it's determination. The last part is dedicated to Vojta's reflex locomotion. In experimental part, there is presented studies, which evaluates the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the sensitive functiones (discrimination, texture perception, vibration perception) and the postural stability (using Balance Master system) in the two groups of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. The first groupe was measured before and after Vojta's therapy and the second groupe (control one) was measured in the same way, but without therapy. Consequently, the basic statistic indicators of gained set of data were calculated. As a conclusion, there has been some changes before and after therapy in sensitive functiones (vibrations perception, discrimination) and postural function and one test of postural stability in the group of patients threated with Vojta's reflex therapy, compared to control group. Název diplomové práce: Aktuální psychické stavy v softballu Topic: Actual Psychical Condition in Softball Cíl práce: Cílem mé práce je zjistit vliv závodní úzkost na hráčky softballu v České republice. Metoda: Pro výzkum byla použita explorativní metoda prostřednictvím techniky standardizovaných dotazníků. Záměrem výzkumu bylo zjistit, do jaké míry jsou hráčky ovlivněny závodní úzkostí. Vyhodnocovány byly tři složky úzkosti, a to kognitivní, somatická a behaviorální. Výsledky: Popisují působení závodní úzkosti na hráčky softballu ve třech zkoumaných komponentách.
