Analysis of user requirements on WCMS

The goal of this thesis is to design demo of Sitecore Web Content Management System based on user requirements on a Web Content Management System. The thesis contains basic information about a Web Content Management System and describes in detail Sitecore Web Content Management System. Analysis of user requirements is realized based on inquiry documents of medium and large organizations. All the analyzed requirements contain detailed description and information about implementation of the given requirement in Sitecore Web Content Management System. Demo is designed based on analyzed requirements and target audiences, which are identified in the thesis. Part of the thesis is also design of scenarios used to demonstrate the demo.
Possible uses of social networks for business support

The primary goal and the main purpose of this paper is to create comprehensive guide to practical use of social networks for business support. Firstly, the reader is acquainted with the definition and history of social networking, then different usages of them is presented. In the next section, focused on Facebook, the reader learns the basic rules for communica-tion on social networks and how to build a fan base. In the practical part, I describe my own work on managing social profiles and I present my personal experiences from my effort to build a good fan base on Facebook page. As a metric indiciating the success of my efforts, I chose values "reach" and "engaged users" used by Facebook itself.
Suggestions on improvement of the testing process

This thesis is focused on improvement of testing in company Atos via RUP methodology. Goal is to design improvement of this process. In introduction of teoretical part is to provide summary process of testing via RUP methodology. This part is divided into four parts. First chapter is about individual activity which occurs in process of testing via RUP. Second chapter is about individual activity and their goals. Chapter about roles are answers of responsibility of roles and requirements they must fulfill. In fourth chapter are artefacts described, which occures in process of testing. In chapter about company Atos is this company described and meanings of development software in this company. Each stadium of development in this company is described and differences in process of development of software with help of supplier. Chapter about testing describes distribution of testting in company Atos. In chapter about static testing is described this process, his roles and types of statis testing. In chapter about dynamic testing is presented GDP method and described process of dynamic testing, relations between other process, each role, types of tests and level of tests. In practical part are defined definitions of RUP and GDP methodologies and their comparison and recommendation of improvement of processing in method GDP based on this comparison.
Using social networks to increase competitiveness

This thesis deals with online social networking. The goal is aimed at a specific web project to demonstrate and comment on the possibility of using the elements of social networks to increase competitiveness. The text is divided into six chapters. In first is introduced the concept of project, including the objectives and reasons for choosing the theme. The next theoretical chapter describes the history and theory, followed by presentation of successful social sites. There are written the best practices for success in social networking too. The theory is followed by analytical and practical sections -- there is the real web project (hobby site aimed at sharing of user manuals and procedures) described. These chapters are a crucial part of the whole work, there are described all parts of project making, from the analysis of the environment through the required "social" functionality to examples of implementation and discussion of future forms of product promotion. The fifth chapter then presents an assessment of previous sections; achieved outputs are compared (commented) with performance targets and expectations. This part contains also the expected outlook for the future. The conclusion sums up the whole project.
Analysis and design of the portal for the disabled

The main goal of this diploma thesis is the creation of the bases for the project realization with the output in the form of the web portal for disabled fellow - citizens and people with special needs, e.g. elderly, foreigners etc. Mentioned bases form especially the analytic part of the project and description and realization of the most activities, which are in some way related to the work of the analyst. One of the most important contributions of this diploma thesis is the identification of the issue of disabled people, the identification of current available significant and germane information within the framework and especially the proposal and recommendation for developing the present situation. This diploma thesis forms finally the indispensable benefit for resolution of the whole project, because it contains its substantial part. The thesis is divided into several comprehensive and connected blocks. There are the main goals and reasons leading to choosing this subject described in the introduction, as well as the premises and limitations of realization of this diploma thesis. The author continues with identification of the information needs of possible portal users, whereas the emphasis is placed on the status and number of disabled citizens in the Czech Republic. Another important part of this thesis is the construction and description of the project plan, which includes the activities and occurrences needed for the realization of the overall solution. The remaining structure of the thesis is determined by a sequence of phases and activities described in the project plan. The evaluation of achieved goal's levels and detail identification of the contributions is made at the close of this diploma thesis.
Analysis of Integrated Study Information System from perspective of particular roles of pedagogic employees

This entire bachelor thesis analyzes Integrated Study Information System used at the University of Economics in Prague. It is analysis of system interface from pedagogic employees' point of view and it is not intended to be complex analysis of the entire system. The first part of thesis concerns about situation on the University of Economics in Prague before implementation of present ISIS and consequently describes events leading to its implementation. Middle part describes user interface in dependence on assigned pedagogic roles. The final part of this thesis contains description and results of questionnaire which was sent to all pedagogic employees of Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. In dependence on answers it describes main suggestions of pedagogues on functionality of ISIS. This part of the thesis also contains problems which has teachers with using of ISIS from Department of Mathematic.
Use of Web 2.0 applications at work for a project team

Web 2.0 is a new approach of creating not only web content. It provides a means of active creation of content for a greater number of users. This approach has already brought a revolution to the Internet on social sites like Facebook or Youtube, but the enterprise environment and project teams are not that familiar yet with the potential of using Web 2.0. Therefore the aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce Web 2.0. It also seeks to bring the possibility of using this approach for creating all types of projects and furthermore points out some applications which are benefits from using this approach and provide universal methodology of using those applications for project work.
Useage of software tools for managing project resources

The bachelor thesis focuses on software support for project managers, particularly on resources and costs management. The introduction explains terms such as project manager, project management and management information system. There is approached the market with software supporting project management in the following part, including a list of selected commercial and open source products, and their subsequent comparison. Work with resources is shown on a concrete project in Microsoft Project Professional 2007, afterwards found an alternative in the form of an open source product Winplanner. The conclusion then provides an overview and comparison of work and functions both of the products with the emphasis on working with resources.
The use of social networks in marketing small and medium enterprises

This work is concentrated on marketing in an environment of social networks and the Internet. It describes how the company had in creating marketing on social networks and what rules do SMO (social media optimization) should follow. In the theoretical part, learn about what is actually social networks are, when and under what conditions, and naturally there arose an overview of the most famous, which are further specified. Most focus on the social network Facebook, which is probably the most popular and widely used for marketing. The practical part includes the presentation of the company marketing practices, which I chose as a practical example of using this strategy. Then follows an analysis of their current situation and then outline the optimal solution for web pages and use social networks.
Internet marketing through social networks and PPC

This work presents tools of internet marketing, their potential to help in business and which one decide to choose. In the beginning theoretical part, my work describes actual internet marketing tools, types of internet add campaigns and social networks. Then it is followed by practical main part. In this part, I presents concrete solution how to make internet presentation in small business. I describe which PPC system is good choice and then how to make adds in these systems. Next is optimalization in PPC and I show results of this move. I describe options in Social networks and make a concrete business presentation through Facebook.
