Space Responses in the Rorschach. Their Meaning and Correspondence with Personality Manifestation of Adolescent Students

The thesis deals with space responses in the Rorschach which are usually given into relation with oppositionality. The theoretical part focuses on the oppositionality phenomenon at a level of perception and personality and analyzes a variety of probable diagnostic meanings of space responses. The aim of empirical part is to verify the validity of space responses on a group of adolescent students. Results suggest that strong tendency to give space responses is not significantly related to the manifestation of oppositionality which was assessed by students' teachers. Discussion implies the need to interpret space responses in a context of an individual. Significantly higher occurrence of space responses was found in adolescent students compared to adult norms. Personality Profile Similarities, Assesment and Application

The bachelor thesis deals with an assessment of similarities of psychological profiles and with its application in selected fields of psychology. Theoretical section is focuses on various ways of operacionalization and measurement methods of the profile similarity and also on statistical and methodological difficulties related to assessment of the profile similarity. The thesis is further concentrated on review of application fields and it describes the use of profile similarity assessment in selected topics of developmental, clinical, personnel and social psychology. The second section of the thesis introduces a proposal of an empirical study that aims to compare subjective and objective indexes of similarity of personalities in married couples in relation to their marital adjustment. keywords: personality, profile similarity, diagnostics, marital adjustment
