Tube microphone
Kupka, Šimon ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the principle of a vacuum tube condenser microphone. It takes a closer look at the Telefunken ELA M-251E microphone and explores the possibility of extending its circuit by additional diaphragm. In the design of such a solution, simulation is used to verify the assumptions. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the selection of suitable components, the actual construction of the microphone and the measurement of its key properties.
Viscometer adjustment for materials of higher viscosity
Laryš, Šimon ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Otáhal, Alexandr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to rebuild and verify the functionality of an old SHEEN CP1 viscometer for measuring soldering and thick-film pastes according to the design from the semester project. The theoretical part presents the basic viscosity calculations for newtonian and non-newtonian substances. The basic methods of viscosity measurement for different types of substances are also explained here. The greatest emphasis is placed on devices that can measure thixotropic substances. The practical part presents a design for a method which reduces the speed of the viscometer and a design for the interconnection of individual components from the semester project and its assembly. Following part contains description of the modules and sensors used and the program part with libraries where functions for individual peripherals were created and explained. The connection of individual components is also explained here. Finally, the functionality of the modified viscometer is verified by measuring the soldering and thick-film paste.
Real-Time Object Tracking in Video
Šimon, Martin ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on real-time visual object tracking with emphasis on problems caused by a long-term tracking task. Among theses problems belong primarily an occlusion problem, both the partial and the full one, and appearance changes of the object during the tracking. The work is also concerned with tracking objects of a very limited size and unsteady camera movements. These two particular problems are relatively common when tracking distant objects. A part of this work is also a summary of related work and a proposal of a system with high qualitative stability and robustness to problems mentioned. The proposed system was implemented and the evaluation demonstrated that it is capable of solving these problems partially.
Visualisation of Path Planning Algorithms
Galba, Šimon ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This term project attends to studying of path planning algorithm visualisation, theoretical description of algorithms used for this purpose and analysis of already developed algorithms in the master thesis that this term thesis builds upon.
User Interface for Role-Playing Game on Interactive Table
Urban, Šimon ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a user interface for the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons for the interactive table ARTable. Two mutually communicating applications were used to achieve a suitable solution. The first is designed for an interactive table for players, the second is designed for desktop and serves for game management. The final applications have led to faster gameplay and shorter learning curve for new players. Interactive table could become a useful tool for playing this type of game.
Analysis of frequency and transient properties of non-integer order filters
Cieslar, Šimon ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of frequency and transient properties of noninteger ( + )-order filters. These filters allow the use of a lower order, compared to the next higher integer-order ( + 1). For example, a system should be created, but a second order would not be sufficient, and in case of the integer-order, a third order system would be considered, but in the case of using a non-integer-order, a fractal-order between them can be used. In the following documentation, attention is paid to the defined group of fractal-order transfer functions, which approximate the identical course of the modulus characteristic according to Butterworth. The form of the function of the linear systems was not taken into account and characteristics such as phase response, group delay, step response and stability were analyzed and evaluated. All for the system ( + )-order, where 3, 4, variable Z1, 4 for (3 + )-order, variable Z1, 5 for (4 + )-order, and (0, 1). Non-integer systems offer a infinite number of orders, making them sometimes more advantageous in a step response or group delay. They can also provide an additional degree of freedom in designing a filter to fine-tune the slope of the amplitude characteristic in the bandwidth. The bachelor thesis deals with non-integer orders and their use in the case of required properties. For easier selection of the correct non-integer order with respect to the required properties, a design recommendation was written within the bachelor’s thesis.
STANDARDISATION AND HARMONISATION OF EXPERT VALUATION METHODOLOGY FOR THE NEEDS OF FORENSIC ECOTECHNIQUE: FOREST AND TREES
Holušová, Kateřina ; Podrázský, Vilém (referee) ; Simon,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Alexandr, Pavel (advisor)
In the presented thesis is an overview of the current state solved the problem, specifying the inclusion of Forensic Ecotechnique: forest and trees into the forensic sciences in the world and its description as part of special methods of forensic engineering. The results focus on the design of standardized and harmonized processes according to the type of expert opinions. As another of the key results of the work are designed functional biometric parameters for evaluating trees in the functional diagnosis of Methods of contact flora assessment (“CFA”). Application of some methods of measurement and selected functional biometric parameters are listed in the examples in the measurement of selected forest stands of beech in the National Nature Reserve Voděradské bučiny and in Chřiby hills. As a general supplement usable in Forensic ecotechnique: forest and trees are given the limits for functional diagnostics. In another series of work includes a discussion on the proposed standards and the measurement results. The work is concluded by summarizing the results and the benefits.
SwiftUI User Interface Component for Structured User Inputs
Strýček, Šimon ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of user interface control for the linear selection of values at a given range. The component design considers an intuitive way of selecting numerical values with an emphasis on the high accuracy of its selection. The component itself is designed for selecting single-dimensional and two-dimensional values. The implementation is made for the iOS platform using the SwiftUI framework, made by Apple. The result is in the form of a Swift Package library with a robust interface.
Mobile Application for Revision Controls on Construction Sites
Šesták, Šimon ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of an application design for a specific group of users and its implementation for the iOS operating system.  The developed application allows the users to easily fill in the necessary data, upload photos to create an output protocol and archive the data locally as well as on a remote server.   The individual chapters gradually describe the methods of storing and retrieving stored protocols from a remote server, the method of image detection and recognition, the design and implementation of the resulting application. The conclusion contains possible extensions and an overall evaluation of the application.  The application was designed after personal experience and consultation with the target user.
