Předmětem diplomové práce je podrobná analýza internetového vyhledávače Google z pohledu potřeb informačního specialisty. Cílem práce je popis a rozbor možností, které tento vyhledávač nabízí nejen ve smyslu pokročilých funkcí a operátorů. V úvodu práce jsou popsány vývojové etapy systémů, vyhledávajících informace v prostředí sítě WWW. Následuje rozbor hlavních principů vnitřního fungování vyhledávače Google. Jádro práce tvoří analýzy základních vlastností vyhledávání (implementace booleovské logiky, stemmingu, proximitního vyhledávání), specifik rešeršního procesu a pokročilých operátorů a funkcí. Pozornost je věnována také odlišnému fungování vyhledávání v českém jazykovém rozhraní. V závěru práce je provedena analýza konkurenčního prostředí a SWAT analýza Googlu.

Liability of the carrier in international carriage by air and road Abstract The thesis is primarily devoted to the analysis of the legal regulation of the liability of air and road carriers in the international carriage of goods and passengers. In the course of the thesis, the relevant legislation is compared and its similarities and differences are pointed out. The thesis is systematically divided into 6 parts. In the introductory part, the thesis deals with the historical development of air and road carriage and the related development of legal regulation, thus introducing the reader to the issue of international air and road carriage. Contemporary problems and challenges in international carriage, which bring with them an increased need for the adoption of new legislation, are not left aside. The second part is devoted to an overview of the legal framework for international air and road carriage. The interpretation is given not only to international and EU regulation, but also to national legal regulations, which plays mainly complementary role due to the international nature and unification of air and road carriage legislation. Strategic management of the central government level

The diploma thesis presents analysis of long term governance practices while focusing specifically on the process of creation and implementation of strategies within the central state administration. Two general approaches are distinguished: the instrumental approach is oriented on the improving processes within a public organisation, while paying some attention to long term perspective. The second one is the conceptual approach promoting more responsible and future oriented approach to public governance. Theory background of both approaches is provided. Five examples of securing long term perspective of public policies were assessed with more attention being paid on strategic planning understood as performance management and strengthening strategic dimension of budgeting process. The paper summarises development in this field in the Czech Republic after 1989 revolution including analysis of current possibilities of improvements. It concludes that long term perspective securing mechanisms are not systematically applied while existing efforts are being undermined by a weak political support.

Topical issues of the regulation of international carriage Abstract The topic of this thesis is international air carriage and its legal regulation which is, due to the highly international nature of air carriage, mainly International and EU. The thesis is systematically divided into 5 main parts. The introductory part is focused on carriage and air carriage in general. It provides definitons of basic concepts, with which the following sections work, a brief historical outline and also current issues and challenges in international carriage, thus bringing this topic to the reader in a detailed perspective. Another discussed point are the international organizations authorized to issue legislation and how they have recently gone through some changes. The second part is dedicated to legislation; especially International and EU legislation. An Interpretation is also provided to the Czech legislation. However, this only plays a rather complementary role, resulting from the highly international character of air carriage. The following two parts are, according to the nature of air carriage, divided into cargo and passenger transport legislation and they are focused mainly on liability of an air carrier.
