USB miltimeter with microprocessor
Samek, Martin ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kovář, Jan (advisor)
Topic of my terminal labour is a proposion of multimeter and its resulting connection by the help of bus USB. When proposing the multimeter there was a tendency to use a minimal number of component parts to conserve a good protection against a bad usage in application. The most widespread busbar USB is used for connection of the multimeter and a computer. Standard HID is used for communication, for that it is not neccessary to install any system drivers.
Meter of powerline quality
Samek, Martin ; Horský, Pavel (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The subject of graduation thesis is a design of line analyser according to standard EN61000-4-30 class A. The analyser is determine to be used for quality control of supplied electric power which is, during electric power transmission, affected by several disturbances. Power line analyser should measure single-phase and three-phase network parameters in LV and HV systems. Measured parameters can be shown on the full colour TFT display, stored in the device memory or sent to other devices such as PC. For communication between the device and PC the USB, Ethernet or RS485 interface are used.
Adaptive optimal controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Samek, Martin ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes adaptive optimal controller design and it’s settings. Identification with principles of artificial intelligence and recursive least squares identification with exponential and directional forgetting are compared separately and as part of controller. Adaptive optimal controller is tested on physical model and compared with solidly adjusted PSD controller. Possibilities of implementation of adaptive optimal controller into programmable logic controller B&R are show and tested.
Civil law in digital reality
Samek, Martin ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Elischer, David (referee)
Civil law in digital reality Abstract This thesis deals with the issue of some selected institutes of civil law, such as legal proceedings, ownership or the concept of things, in the context of the technologies of the so-called augmented and virtual reality, ie collectively the so-called digital reality. The thesis analyzes in individual institutes and evaluates and predicts their possible application for augmented and virtual reality technologies. It examines how these two worlds, the legal world and the digital world, interact with each other, how they can interact with each other, and finally whether these worlds are compatible with each other. In the seven chapters of the second part of this thesis, the author analyzes selected institutes of civil and copyright law. Specifically, those institutes that are interesting in the context of these technologies, not all new technologies in general. The first chapter is devoted to legal acts in the context of virtual worlds. In the following three chapters, the author discusses things and rights in rem in the context of virtual ownership and an alternative in the form of intellectual property. Attention is paid here to determining what virtual objects are legally: how the law sees them and what protection applies or does not apply to them. In the fifth chapter,...

Using of SAP System in Business Services Composition
Simetinger, František ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Samek, Martin (referee)
This thesis is focused on service in frame of enterprise computing and composition of these services. This brings a number of issues in large spectra of perspectives and this thesis has the ambition these issues resolve. The goal of this thesis is considering the principles application of service oriented architecure and standard methodologies in composition of internally managed by process complex business service, which composes services in SAP information system and which use resources of IBM WebSphere Process Server and IBM WebSphere ESB Server. The basic presumption to goal achieve is precise identification and definition of service. Also important is the notion of composition. So what are especially logical links between services. Based on this service identification it is going to be clarified the options of its composition and it is going to be specified the importance of service definition and composition in enterprise computing area. After defining the services in computing context the thesis is going to be focused on composite business services. Composite business services are going to be analyzed from three perspectives: Engineering, Management and Governance. The benefit of thesis is answer to question if it is possible in specific environment with specific conditions to compose business services, which respect the criterions of three perspectives: Engineering, Management and Governance. If the composition of those business services will respect generally respected standards and recommendations in a defined environment. Thesis in its structure passes from general knowledge about services to knowledge about services in frame of enterprise computing. This knowledge is based on analysis and recommendations of methodologies which are focused on service oriented IT management. Knowledge of this analysis are became basis for definition of three perspectives. Principles defined in three perspectives are going to be verified in real experiment.
