Title: Instruments for evaluation of the structure of the day in the occupational therapy Abstract: The bachelor thesis is theoretical-practical. The thesis summarizes the basic information about the tools used in occupational therapy to evaluate the structure of the day and the areas related to it. It is the structure of the day that is important component in the occupational therapy assessment and together with the other areas assessed it allows the occupational therapist to take a holistic view of the patient. Assessing all of the factors that may be affecting an individual's health is essential for setting appropriate therapeutic plans and goals. Therefore, the theoretical part includes chapters dealing with concepts related to the structure of the day that should not be overlooked in occupational therapy practice. Basic concepts of the profession (occupation, activities, habits) as well as concepts such as participation, occupational balance, roles, etc. are described. Title of bachelor thesis: Occupational therapy for patients with injuries associated with use of addictive substances Abstract of bachelor thesis: The bachelor thesis focuses on people who have suffered an injury as a result of substance abuse. Its aim is to map and describe the most common injuries that occur under the influence of addictive substances, to determine their impact on the course and success of the rehabilitation process and to point out the specifics of working with this type of patients. The theoretical part begins with an introduction to addictology, where important terms and the concept of addiction are explained. Then it focuses on the specific addictive substances under which injuries most often occur - alcohol, cannabis, opioids and opiates. Other chapters address specific common injuries and the use of occupational therapy, followed by chapters discussing the work of the occupational therapist with patients with addiction and the impact of addictive substances on the rehabilitation process. Name of thesis: Diagnostic and therapeutic ways of visualization methods in occupational therapy. Use of art therapy and the KAWA model. The aim: The aim of the theses is to compare both visual conceptions - art therapy and the Kawa model - on the theme of a river, to check possibilities and risks of the use of both techniques in occupational therapy on the territory of the Czech Republic, and to try joining these two concepts into the one therapeutic method. Methods: The theoretical part deals with the dynamics of the psyche and other performance determinants, theoretical background of methods, their use and the explanation of semiotics and psychological symbolism. The practical part presents case interpretations of several people with different diagnosis in order to verify the applicability of both methods in praxes as well as the suitability to connect them to a common concept of work with a patient. Results: I found out that art therapy with its river theme and the Kawa model are deeply connected throughout the dynamics of the psyche. Art therapy offers more options to look for behaviour motives, the Kawa model is well applied even without a deep knowledge of symbolism and therefore can be well comprehensible. Eliška Rotbartová Title: Work integration options in people with multiple sclerosis: influence of symptoms and other comorbidities Abstract: This theoretical-practical bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of multiple sclerosis symptoms and other comorbidities on the employment of people who are dealing with this diagnosis. The thesis aims to find out what are the main difficulties that limit the ability to work of people with multiple sclerosis, using a questionnaire of work difficulties called Multiple Sclerosis Work Difficulties Questionnaire (MSWDQ-23). The importance of this aim is based primarily on the fact that the disease mainly affects young adults in productive age, for whom employment tends to be an essential part of life and the difficulties associated with reduced work capacity can negatively affect their financial and social situation, but also their general physical condition. Petra Sládková, Ph.D. Title: The possibilities of use of questionnaire WHODAS 2.0, regarding physiotherapy of patients with diagnosis of Central Hemiparesis This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the issue of subjective assessment of disability in patients with central hemiparesis. Objective testing cannot comprehensively capture an individual's overall experience stemming from his/her health condition. On the other hand, subjective evaluation using the WHODAS 2.0 questionnaire, provides specific information about the most problematic areas of their life as experienced by the individual. This allows the examiner to directly address these issues and achieve a better therapeutic effect. Alternatively, it may also lead to acknowledging that the appropriate solution lies within the expertise of other specialists. Title: Possibilities of meaningful occupation assessment in Occupational Therapy intervention Abstract: The bachelor thesis is theoretical-practical. One of the aims of the thesis is to present the role of meaningful activity in occupational therapy. To provide context, the first chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to introducing the field of occupational therapy and basic concepts related to the topic. Meaningful activity is the main therapeutic tool occupational therapists use in patient/client care. The thesis also discusses how occupational therapists, with their broad scope and specific approach, are an important members of the multidisciplinary team. Tools for assessing engagement in meaningful activities are limited and none are available in Czech. In the theoretical part, two main foreign instruments are presented - the Meaningful Activity Participation Assessment, shortly MAPA (Eakman et al., 2007) and the Engagement in Meaningful Activities Survey, shortly EMAS (Goldberg, Brintnell and Goldberg, 2002). Eliška Rotbartová Title: The Independency Training in Person with Multiple Sclerosis in Home Environment Abstract: This theoretical and practical bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of occupational therapy for increasing or maintaining self-sufficiency in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) with higher degree of neurological disability (i.e., patients with EDSS>7). The MS disease, issues of self-sufficiency, palliative care, and some options for social benefits, are described in the theoretical part. The practical part includes 3 case reports of patients of the Centre for Demyelinating Diseases of the Neurological Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague. All patients completed 6 individual occupational therapy sessions in their home environment. The therapy effect was evaluated by the Barthel Index, modified Frenchay scale and by the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM). Influence of the Covid pandemic on the work of occupational therapists in the clinical practice.

The thesis is devoted to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the clinical practice of occupational therapists working during this period in the territory of the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 disease on the clinical practice of occupational therapists working during the pandemic using a questionnaire survey. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the disease COVID-19 is described, and the provision of occupational therapy during the pandemic in the Czech Republic and the provision of occupational therapy in the world is discussed here. There is also a summary of the individual effects of the pandemic on occupational therapists, which mainly concerned the effects on the psyche of occupational therapists, working conditions and the quality of occupational therapy services. The effects of the pandemic on users of occupational therapy services are also discussed here. The development and use of telehealth during this period is then discussed. Such issues of mentally ill or intellectually disabled people are described in detail in the theoretical part. Some problem areas of these groups are presented as well as potential of occupational therapy interventions. The current reform of psychiatric care, which is supposed to bring about an improvement of psychiatric care and deinstitutionalization, is being addressed. Stigmatisation and overlooking by society is also a common theme of people with mental and psychiatric illnesses. Creation of an integration day for children with disabilities (with special educational needs)

The bachelor thesis is aimed on the integration of children with special educational needs. The work is divided into two parts which are a theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is aimed on the definition of basic concepts such as health and disability and classification of disability, the characteristics of a pupil with special educational needs. It also describes the legislative framework and views of several authors on the topic of integration, inclusion and education of pupils with special educational needs. The last chapters are devoted to the importance of movement in these children and people with disabilities in general and the development of fine and gross motor skills in preschool children. The practical part contains the goal of the bachelor's thesis and research questions related to it. It describes the research field, which was one of the classes of the Kindergarten and Special Education Center Jihlava. It also interprets the results of research, which in the end compare with the publications of experts.
