Rock Star as a Old-Timer: Representations of their Own Lives in the Memoirs of Czech Rock Musicians

This thesis is concerned with the specific genre of biographical literature - autobiographies of czech rock musicians. Since the terminology in the topic of the thesis is unclear, the author is first going to define it. Furthermore it asks the question of who really is a old-timer as well as who is a rocker. The material studied are texts in which the narrator recalls his past life and tries to reconstruct their path of life. The author seeks thematic and formal parallels in the chosen autobiographies. Using these the author intends to define the specifics of the rock autobiography genre in the Czech Republic. Key words: rock, autobiography, old-timer, rock musician, stereotype
The Problem of Adaptation of Love Romance Stories to film

The aim of this thesis is to describe a relation between a literary text of love romance stories and its film adaptation. We understand love romance stories genre as a subgenre of popular literature and we define it like that. We also mention various theories of adaptation, mainly the theory of Linda Hutcheon. On the basis of the specification of the love romance genre and the appropriate theory of adaptation we compare chosen novels of Maryna Radoměrská and theirs film adaptations. We observe how much is this adaptation loyal to the novel which it is based on, whether it could have been loyal or has satisfied the viewer as much as the novel. Reform of the International Monetary Fund in connection with the Development of the World Economy

This thesis deals with the development of the International Monetary Fund from its establishment to the present in connection with the changing reality in the world economy and with its reform in the new millennium that was caused by the unsuitable form of this institution considering the current situation in the world economy. In the third part it deals with the development of this reform in connection with the last financial crisis and with the impact of this crisis on the International Monetary Fund.
Transregionalism - towards global regionalism

The thesis deals with an analysis of world transregionalism. It contains a theoretical part, which describes what caused the birth of "new" regionalism, the differences between "old" and "new" regionalism and characterizes transregionalism as one of the formal changes of "new" regionalism. The second part analyzes the world transregionalism in term of the number of participants, the character of participants and in term of the form of integration. The last part analyzes the transregionalism in the external relations of the European Union and compares it with the world transregionalism.
