Analysis of Internal Communication and Corporate Culture of the Agency Insighters s.r.o.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on internal communication and corporate culture of the communication agency Insighters. The main aim of the thesis is to examine the perception of mission, vision, and values by the employees of this company. Thesis deals with the influence of the length of employment in the agency on the mentioned phenomena. In the theoretical part, the concepts of agency, communication, and culture are first described. This is done to help the reader better understand the background of later defined concepts of internal communication and corporate culture. These concepts are theoretically defined in this thesis and introduce the reader how they should be properly set and understood in a corporate environment. In the practical part, the communication agency Insighters is first introduced, followed by an analysis of its internal communication and corporate culture. The reader is thus familiarized with formal and informal channels used by the agency, as well as its mission, vision, and values. This is followed by defining the methodology of the work, where qualitative research, semi- structured interviews, and the 5W1H method are characterized. Internal communication is essential for every company. However it is not always perceived as such. Internal communication is a conveyor of information and company's values. It is based on corporate culture and it also influences in. It affects atmosphere and performance of the company, engagement and overall happiness of employees. It is also related to the rate of their fluctuation. Diversity, which is the key to the diversity of approaches and perspectives, is also comparatively important to the functioning of the company. Diversity brings more effective problem solving or team functioning. In this respect, companies should strive for gender equality in their working environment and take supportive initiatives to help women overcome barriers in the labor market. The Czech Republic is one of the worst-ranked countries in the European Union in terms of gender equality in the labor market. This diploma thesis deals with the interconnection of internal communication and topics related to promoting women in work and personal life. The aim of this thesis is to use qualitative research to find out how selected domestic companies work with these topics in internal communication.
Internal communication and its use in opening the dialog between the employees and the company

This bachelor thesis deals with the internal communication and its use for opening a dialogue between a company and its employees. The practical part of the thesis contains a case study of the company DAUCZECH s.r.o.in the period 2016-2018. Firstly, the author seeks to answer questions of whether it is worth to invest time and resources in internal communication concerning small and medium-sized enterprises. Secondly, he asks whether well-established communication channels can solve intra-company communication problems. The thesis consists of two parts. The first section is devoted to the theory of internal communication, the term "urge to change", and the issue of establishing a dialogue; the last subchapter deals with the definition of internal communication information channels. In the second section, the author applies the theoretical findings to the real company environment. Throughout this part, several kinds of research take place. The thesis presents the latest research findings in the field of internal communication. Thus it proves that the internal communication of the instrument that can, when properly used, can improve processes inside a company. Part of the thesis is also a proposition of a strategy for improvement of company communication for DAUCZECH s.r.o.
Facing new challenges of digitalization in internal communications

How do organizations communicate to employees in the digital era? And how do they meet their specific needs? This work aims to map the complex knowledge of organizational communication in the context of current trends which have a major impact on organizational communication. Due to technological progress and new digital tools, internal communications are facing new challenges of losing interest and reach of their audience, i.e. employees. In the theoretical framework of this paper, the attempt was to introduce the general idea of communication within an organization, its functions, objectives and strategy. In the following chapters I have introduced the channels which are widely used when reaching to employees. As evaluation of effectiveness plays an important role in this domain, I have pointed out the key metrics which communicators should focus on when measuring internal communications. Communication in the digital era is no doubt a challenge and must change in order to meet the specific needs of the target group, however, what if the challenge lays not in the channel but in the target group? This thesis deals with the possibilities of using the enterprise social networks for internal communication. First the thesis defines the importance of internal communication for the company, next it generally defines and describes social networks with a focus on enterprise social networks. The practical part of the thesis includes a field survey, which aims to explore a current state of internal communication in companies and identifies problems in communications between employees. Based on the results and findings in the end possible benefits of the use of enterprise social networks are discussed as a possible solution for the identified problems.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to describe current options of mobile marketing, to present its forms and to analyse usage of mobile applications on the Czech market. Utilization of the mobile application that agregates restaurants which deliver food is evaluated based on analysis that is part of this thesis. The thesis identifies attitude of owners of restaurants to the mobile application via author's own research. The thesis analyses marketing communication inside the mobile application based on its effectiveness, which is compared to conventional forms of marketing. The thesis also formulates hints and suggestions for further development of the mobile application.
Implementation of alpina brand to the czech outdoor shoes market

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the Czech outdoor footwear market .The thesis is focused on the comparison of the perception of loyalty for Alpina brand and selected competing brands of defined consumers' group buying outdoor footwear. Alpine has shown interest in entering the Czech market with a portfolio of products for tourism, trekking and outdoor. In the theoretical part are mentioned problems of the brand management and possible ways of promoting any brand at the market. The BrandDynamics method is mentioned for brand's loyalty and strength evaluation. The practical part of the work involves Alpina's introduction and its short history. It also contains particular analysis of the Czech market with positions' evaluation and strength of selected brands with consumers. From obtained data are clues for successful implementation of Alpina to Czech Republic worked out.
Product placement in music videos in Czech Republic

In my thesis I mapp the current situation prevailing in the Czech Republic in the area of product placement in music videos. The analysis of situation is based on an analysis of Czech and foreign music videos and interviews with experts. General public's view via product placement affects survey conducted online only. In conclusion of the practical part of my thesis is case study for product placement in music video for independent, underground, Czech band. This academic work should contribute to more widespread product placement in the environment of Czech music videos.
