Study of EEG signal in experiment with flicker-fusion test

Quick and easy detection of vigilance level is very important in practise. Questionnaires, psychological tests and analysis of biological signals are usually used for determination of awakening level. This work deals with studying of possibilities of using the flicker-fusion test (FF test) and electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis for determination of vigilance level. First part of thesis defines terms, second part represents brief introduction of EEG and third part is about FF test. Last part is about realization of spectral analysis of EEG using MATLAB. Method for EEG and FF test parameters assesment is also proposed in this part.

The bachelor thesis is focused on a very sensitive topic - Reverence for Life - a child with an unfavorable prognosis. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis, the individual chapters deal with the characteristics of the holistic concept of human, the relationship of human to life, the issue of the birth of a child with a serious disability and the process of coping with this fact in the family. Last but not least, the very painful loss of a child. The practical part consists of the analysis of data obtained mainly from individual interviews with mothers (parents) of children with an unfavorable prognosis and at the same time from interviews with experts. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the response and experience gained from the birth of a child with a serious disability, respectively with a lethal prognosis, and also to find out the experience from the approach of doctors and other specialists.

The text explains the phenomenon of hope from a phenomenological point of view, i tis an explanation of hope and its understanding in the context of human live. We know hope from a Christian perspective, such as salvation salvation, forgiveness, hope for eternal life. In the postmodern age, human existence has changed and hope needs to be thought through in new contexts. The question arises as to what is really hope. Althought it does not seem important, understanding hope and distinguising it is a condition of well-being of the individual and society. Hope must not be an illusion or a mere daily hope of fulfilling our wishes. Hope is above all action, it is not surrender and resignation. True, transcendent hope is born in deep crisis, pain, abandonment, it comes to us in patience, in the act of acceptance, reconciliation. Hope is an awareness of the future in spite of reality. Hope is perseverance, humility and mystery. Hope is joy, it is a force that comes to us from an unidentifiable place, but it spreads everywhere. Hope also relates to the existence of the whole world, to the responsibility for maintaining the conditions of life on Earth, to the dignified and fully lived life of individuals. Political Rhetoric in Shakespeare's Drama Bc. Anna Malá MA Thesis Abstract This thesis focuses on political rhetoric in William Shakespeare's plays. It approaches History plays, Roman plays, and Tragedies in order to compare whether the rhetoric used differs among the genre in connection to the state system which it presents - Republic or Monarchy, with the intention to describe the difference. The main criteria for this description are the imagery and rhetorical strategies used in specific situation both by the ruler and by some of the subjects concerning the ruler.
Multiobjective portfolio optimization

The goal of this thesis is to summarize three basic principles of solving multi-objective programming problems. We focus on three approaches: a linear combination of objective functions, ε-constrained approach and a goal programming. All these methods are subsequently applied to US data. We consider monthly excess returns of ten US representative portfolios based on individual stock market capitalization of equity that serve as basic assets. Our aim is to find the efficient portfolios. Next we investigate a structure of these portfolios and their mutual relationships. Graphic representation of efficient frontiers is also included in the thesis. All calculations were performed using Mathematica software version 8.
Philosophy of Hope

In this work I am looking for a hope in selective authors. This work is divide to five chapter. In first chapter treat about philosphy of hope in conception by G. Marcel. In short foreshadow his autobiography, what about sources of information leaned, what upon philosophy reassume and why occupy oneself by this question. In Marcel I target the hope from ill and dying, bud too the essence philosophy and her relation to freedom. In second chapter I target the especially on the authors theology hope, where is criticism some Utopian imaginings, but also a biblical motivation of hope for survival. I occupy oneself by hope in religion and too foreshadow relation art and hope. Following third chapter is about environmental hope, which are as practical product (on safe groceries, on water and fresh air for all people, etc.). The fourth chapter is about sense of life hopes, hard situations hopes and energy of hope face up injustice.

In this work I am reflectioning of culture, meaning of culture and exhibition ever since the modern style after as much as present-day. My thesis divided into three main parts. In my firs thesis I am engaging in the topic of the conception of culture at Tomáše Trnky. About Trnka I target on his view on genesis and spring of culture, on meaning, profitability and metamorphoses in a time, but on negative shows too. In second chapter I analyse modern of culture ideals in pedagogy, philosophy and science. I analyse idem modern perception of arts, artistic products and influence modern of culture and arts on a religion. The third chapter is about postmodern of culture. There I affect general status actual of cultures in all human areas as are sciences, arts and religions.
Teacher Perspective on Distance Learning at Primary School

This diploma thesis deals with the current state of distance education at the 1st stage of primary school (4th and 5th grade) year 2020/2021. The main part presents the management structures of distance education with the implementation of selected online's methods teaching and creation of materials' study (distance learning). These materials are making available to students with the possibility to provide feedbacks in both directions. It also deals with pedagogical and didactic aspects of distance education, including a comparison of differences between distance and full-time teaching (duration: January to June 2020 and September 2020 to May 2021). The empirical part of the thesis was carried out as action research. It compares the period of the beginning of distance learning, March 2020 - FIRST PHASE, with the period from October 2020 - SECOND PHASE. It also compares the performance of two selected students and the impact of distance education on their performance from January 2020 to May 2021. Supporting findings on the issue are substantiate by several methods (questionnaire survey, discussion with students and student results from tests).
