The aim of the diploma thesis is to make the detailed building-technological project of the polyfunctional buildings in Olomouc. The thesis contains a summary accompanying technical report, technical regulations, control and test plan. Next parts of the work are time schedule and an itemized budget of the polyfunctional building, time and financial plan of the whole building, calculation of the costs of operating the construction site, Occupational safety and health instructions, traffic situation around building, design of mechanical set, drawings of site equipment. Finally there is also situation of construction, pilot implementation scheme and construction details.
Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of gender in employment
Machačová, Kateřina ; Koldinská, Kristina (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
- 111 - PROHIBITION OF DISCRIMINATION BASED ON SEX IN LABOUR-LAW RELATIONS This diploma paper deals with the prohibition of discrimination based on sex in labour-law relations. Its main objective was to present a comprehensive construction of legal regulation of equal treatment and equal opportunities for men and women both in the legal order of the Czech Republic and in the law of the European Community ("EC") and in public international conventions. The thesis opens with the explanation of general framework of the subject, it especially analyses the notion of equality and various approaches to this concept. Further on, the paper focuses on the demonstrations of unequal chances of men and women on the employment market, as well as on the historical aspects of women's status in society. Quite an extensive part of the presentation is dedicated to the definition of the fundamental concept of discrimination, its particular forms (above all the conception of direct vs. indirect discrimination) and exceptions to the principle of equal treatment. The explication is primarily based on definitions contained in the European directives (to the implementation of which the Czech Republic as a Member State of the EC is obliged), as well as on the relevant judicial decisions of the European Court of Justice ("ECJ"). The...
Organization of the microtubular cytoskeleton during the formation of Casparian band in root endodermal cells of Allium cepa
Macháčová, Kateřina ; Soukup, Aleš (advisor) ; Lux, Alexander (referee)
103 7 Summary Organization of the Microtubule Cytoskeleton during the Formation of a Casparian Band in Root Endodermal Cells of Allium cepa This thesis is focused on the process of Casparian bands initiation in radial and transverse cell walls of the root endodermis of Allium cepa. The Casparian band is characterized by a chemical modification of the cell wall in the position of the Casparian band followed by the formation of the tight binding of a plasma membrane to the cell wall. We assume that cortical microtubules can play an important role in both processes searching for changes of cortical array during the development of proendodermis and during the foundation of the Casparian band in the endodermis. The classical method of the microtubules visualisation in roots was modified by the application of microwaves during the process of fixation. The tissues were observed with the fluorescence and confocal microscopy. Image postprocessing and construction of 3D-models were subsequently used. Proendodermal cells in Allium cepa are recognized for the first time among other root cells in the distance of about 2 mm from the root tip. The Casparian band is firstly detected in the distance of about 8 mm from the root apex by means of autofluorescence of the Casparian band. The cell wall of the Casparian band...
Stem emissions from poplar hybrids grown in a shortrotation plantation contribute to ecosystem balance of nitrous oxide and methane
Macháčová, Kateřina ; Kreuzwieser, J. ; Rennenberg, H.
The expansion of short-rotation coppices (SRCs) of fast-growing trees can affect the global balance of greenhouse\ngases (GHGs). These include not only carbon dioxide (CO2) but also methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide\n(N2O), both naturally produced by soil microorganisms. Trees are known to exchange CH4 and N2O with\nthe atmosphere. To date, however, the fluxes of these gases from fast-growing trees have been excluded from\nestimation of the GHGs balance for SRCs. Our objectives were to quantify and scale up CH4 and N2O fluxes\nfrom stems of the fast-growing poplar hybrids Max4 and Monviso at an SRC in southwest Germany. Our\ncase study shows that the stems of both hybrids were sources of N2O and CH4, even though consumption of\nCH4 was also observed. The hybrids did not differ in their exchange capacity. Nitrogen fertilization resulted in\nhigher stem N2O emissions compared to non-fertilized trees. The emissions of N2O and CH4 from stems contributed\nas much as 1.5% and 1.2% of soil N2O emission and soil CH4 uptake, respectively.
Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of gender in employment
Machačová, Kateřina ; Štefko, Martin (referee) ; Koldinská, Kristina (referee)
The topic of the presented thesis is the legal regulation of equal treatment of men and women and prohibition of discrimination on grounds of sex (gender) primarily in labour law relations and to a certain extent also in some areas of social security law. The main objective of this paper was to create a quite comprehensive but not too theoretical study on the above-mentioned theme which would be focused on the respective enactment both in the legal order of the Czech Republic and in the law of the EU and in several documents of international law. Before starting the actual construction about the relevant legal regulation the thesis deals with the presentation of some fundamental issues connected with the subject, first of all the explication of the concept of equality and various ways it can be approached, the major demonstrations of unequal opportunities of men and women on the labour market and the historical evolution of women's status in society. Further on the paper focuses on the explanation of the complicated concept of discrimination and its particular forms (above all on the distinction between direct and indirect discrimination) which are being analysed making use of the respective case law of the Court of Justice of the EU. The actual account of the legal enactment of equal treatment and...
