Childrens´ speech development with speech defects in preschool age
MALÁ, Petra
This Bachelor thesis on the topic of the Development of Speech in Preschool-aged Children with Logopedic Speech Impairments aims to analyze the development of speech in two children with logopedic impairments by means of observation in a set timeframe. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the regular process of a child's development during the preschool years, as well as the regular development of speech. It also addresses existing logopedic impairments, their causes, their manifestations, and reeducation procedures. The practical part of the thesis is supported by research conducted listening in at two preschool institutions. It contains the case studies of the children observed and evaluates the development of their speech in a given timeframe.
Voltammetric determination of triclosan at carbon paste electrode
Malá, Petra ; Dejmková, Hana (advisor) ; Fischer, Jan (referee)
Differential pulse voltammetry was used to study the behaviour of triclosan at a carbon paste electrode. The influence of various pH values of Britton-Robinson buffer and various amounts of methanol was studied. Optimal found value of pH was pH 11 and there was no difference in voltammetric signal in the media with various amounts of added methanol. Accumulation on the electrode surface was negligible and did not result in significant triclosan signal increase. The limit of detection of 1,2·10-7 mol dm-3 and the limit of quantification of 2,0·10-7 mol dm-3 triclosanwere found. Real samples were studied by differential pulse voltammetry, high-performance liquid chromatography and spectrophotometry. The results were compared and applicability of differential pulse voltammetry to real samples without special preparation step was evaluated. Surfactants present in samples obscured the voltammetric determination of triclosan in some samples even in case of the utilization of standard addition method.
Cognitiv strategies in gender non-traditional tasks
Malá, Petra ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Páchová, Anna (referee)
A fairy tale is one of the socialization factors which can support gender stereotypes in children's perception of the world around them. Fairy tale presents male and female characters in their gender roles to both boys and girls. This enables children to develop their own identity, gender identity being one of its parts. Pre-school children are confused by a fairy tale that does not follow gender schemes which they aquired in the past. In this kind of situation chidren employ their individual strategies which help them to get a better understanding of the tale and thanks to that assimilate the tale to their image of the world and the order that rules it. Typically, pre-school children don't accept characters that do not show attributes belonging to their gender role. They prefer characters which are typically masculine - active and brave, or typically feminine - passive and beautiful. Thus, traditional fairy tales don't offer the same opportunities of experiencing the story for both sexes. The goal of my qualitative research was an observation of differences between the way boys and girls perceive a fairy tale following gender stereotypes and another fairy tale that violates them. I based the research on structured interviews with children focused on how they perceive the tale. Afterwards, I analyzed this...
Utilization of clay modified carbon film electrodes for the determination of nitrophenols
Malá, Petra ; Dejmková, Hana (advisor) ; Fischer, Jan (referee)
This thesis was dedicated to the possibility of replacing glassy carbon electrode using cheaper composite carbon rod with carbon coating applied onto its surface and to the consequences of adding a modifier to the electrode material. To understand the effects of having pasting liquid contained in carbon paste electrode on substance accumulation, partitioning coefficient of mineral oil/water compound was experimentally determined for 2NP, 4NP, 24DNP and 24TNP. Adsorption coefficient was experimentally determined to find out sorption possibilities of 2NP and 4NP on MMT. Surface of the carbon coating was imaged using scanning electron microscope to find out distribution of MMT and polystyrene in said carbon coating. A method for accumulating 2-nitrophenol and 4-nitrophenol on montmorillonite-modified carbon coating was successfully developed

Analysis of motivational factors in terms of school success of pupil
Malá, Petra ; Krykorková, Hana (advisor) ; Sedláčková, Daniela (referee)
My bachelor thesis has been focused on the motivation, specifically on the scholastic motivation. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to find out which motives affect students during their education process, how to analyse these motivating factors and eventually how to deal with the analysis results of these motives. I focuse on the theoretical knowledge connected to motivation such as needs and its function. In addition, it analyses the scholastic motivation and motivating factors that might affect the student. The second part is based on the pedagogic-psychological diagnostics, its target is the metodology, especially the empirical research applied to the analysis of the motivating factors. Further the survey methods and its application are described. Five different questionnaires, which are acceptable to the motivating factors analysis, have been chosen. In conclusion, the options of the motivation ways and its building up are outlined.
One day. Set of photographs taken with a pinhole camera.
MALÁ, Petra
This theoretical-practical work analyzes pinhole photography technique. It describes pinhole camera principle in general and the process of its construction. However, it mainly focuses on the development of this technique in a historical context from the first imaging media to the pinhole camera of today used as a medium in contemporary art. This work also refers to significant figures from this area and provides links to important sources of information. The practical part of this work contains my personal experience making pinhole cameras, which is based upon the knowledge gained by completing the theoretical work. The practical section also comprises eight different pinhole cameras, a set of photos with the theme "One day" and a brochure. The brochure sumarizes the technical specifications of pinhole cameras and photos taken by these cameras.
