Finding out the marketing processes of a construction company

The bachelor thesis is focuses on the calculation of the value of the goodwill of the selected construction company using a few methods and on a recommendation of a convenient combination of these methods. In the theoretical part of the thesis I explained basic theoretical terms from the construction marketing field, including the division of the construction market. After that there is defined the concept of goodwill following a few methods for its calculation. At the end of the theoretical part, I described marketing planning. In the practical part of the thesis, there are elaborated selected methods of valuation of goodwill. After-wards I made an analysis of the environment of the company using SWOT analysis. At the end of my bachelor thesis, I proposed a marketing strategy on the ba-sis of obtained results and obtained information and also I proposed an appropriate combination of the methods of valuation of goodwill.

CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE FACULTY OF PHARMACY IN HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ ATTITUDES AND EXPERIENCE OF STUDENTS WITH ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCES: Attitudes of the third year undergraduate pharmacy students of Charles University in Hradec Králové towards illegal drugs Veronika Mašová This dissertation deals with the attitudes, experience and knowledge of illegal drugs. The study targets to the third year undergraduate pharmacy students of Charles University in Hradec Králové in academic year 2005/2006. It contains both theoretical part and practical part. In theoretical part we find basic terms, pharmacology of some addictive substances and the review of drug situation in Europe and the Czech Republic. The practical part performes the results of anonymous questionnaire. In the discussion, the result of questionnaire are compared with the results from the first year undergraduate pharmacy student in the same year. Results of search from another faculties (Prague and Brno) and ESPAD study are compared with this investigation too. 139 students take part in this search. The age interval ranged from 21 to 30 years and the mean age was 21,7 years. My study determines that the mean age, when students tried drugs for the first times, is 17,9 years. The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of the company Pavigo s.r.o. on the basis of publicly available accounting statements in the period 2006 - 2011 and propose measures leading to improvement of the situation. The thesis is dividend in two parts. The literature review deals with the explanation of basic terms of financial analysis and calculating methods of individual indicators. The second part applies gained theoretical knowledge into practise. Analysis of financial situation is performed and based on the obtained results suggestions and recommendations for improvement are proposed.
Analysis of non-current tangible assets in selected entities

Thesis 'Analysis of non-current tangible assets in selected entities ' deals with the non-current tangible assets from the point of view of the Czech legislation and IFRS. The theoretical part of the thesis characterises non-current tangible assets in terms of IFRS, which together with examples concern with the issues of definition and evaluation. The Czech legislation is compared with IFRS and the main differences are marked out that prevent a unified view of non-current tangible assets adjusted according to IFRS and the Czech accounting standards. The practical aspect is reflected in an empirical research that analyses non-current tangible assets in entities operating in the area of power and food industries.
Analysis of founding a travel agency

This thesis focuses on founding a new travel agency oriented on domestic tourism. The aim is to show a real process of founding a new travel agency. The travel agency's offer is based on analysis of environment, market, competition and potential customers. It is focused on three segments: seniors, families with children and forfaiter journeys. The financial analysis is included in next part of the thesis.

Thesis is called "Stocks" and deals with the issue of stocks from company's own production. The problem is solved from the Czech legislation and IFRS points of view. This thesis is particularly concentrated on the evaluation of stocks from own production. Given theoretic information results from the Czech legislation and IFRS and is compiled in practical examples and subsenquently the areas, in which the Czech legislation and IFRS differ, are set.
Komparace firem podnikajících v sortimentu oděvů

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zhodnocení nákupní atmosféry a propagace dvou firem podnikajících v sortimentu oděvů - Marks & Spencer a New Yorker. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy nákupní atmosféry a zvolených oblastí propagace, které jsou v práci ke komparaci firem používány. Praktická část se zabývá charakteristikami konkrétních poboček firem ve zmíněných oblastech. Poslední kapitola obsahuje pozitiva a negativa prodejních jednotek a návrhy, jak by mohly být problematické body vyřešeny.
