Reading Comprehension of Non-native Czech Language Speakers

(in English) This thesis discusses the methodology of teaching reading comprehension and using text in the process of teaching Czech for foreigners. It is aimed at developing an approach to teaching reading skills in language classes on the basis of contemporary literature on the subject and in offering structured exercises for utililizing this approach. The theoretical section of this thesis offers a complex analysis of the topic, approaches to evaluating text and developing reading competence in the process of teaching. The practical chapter Cvičení a aktivity (Exercises and Activities) illustrates, through example exercises and activities, how to teach particular aspects of reading competence on the basis of types of reading and reading strategies described in the theoretical and methodological framework of the thesis.

Prose fiction of Jáchym Topol

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to chart aH of the prose fiction works which have been already published, written by the Czech contemporary author Jáchym Topol. We are analyzing all works which are individually foucusing on the final disclosure of the possible agreeing points and therefore which means the connection between some of the proses. Among other questions, we are asking whether or not could be the most expressive novel Sestra and whether it could be seen as a melting pot full of inspiration in the complex of Topoľs works which the author has been using for his later works ever since.

Marketing Strategy of the Secondary School Ceske Budejovice

The main topic of this thesis is marketing communications of Gymnasium Olympic hopes in České Budějovice. The first part deals with the theory, which is focused on school communication mix, the school's image and marketing strategy. Then this thesis present actual marketing activities of school, describes the SWOT analysis and shows realisation of questionnaire survey and its post evaluation. Heart of the thesis is proposal of specific marketing strategy for GON, which is based on the results of the analyzes.
