Subcommision on heraldry and vexillology of the Czech parliament

The thesis deals with the Subcommittee for Heraldry and Vexillology of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. It is divided thematically into two parts. The first part describes the general history of the subcommittee from 1991 to 2013, covering the establishment of the Commission for Heraldry and Vexillology of the Czech National Council up to the end of the 6th electoral term. This section also presents the work of the commission on the new coat of arms of the Czech Republic, the evolution of the expert group of the Czech Parliament, and the establishment of the registry of municipal symbols REKOS. The second part deals with requests for symbols and in general the process of granting them itself. It includes a description of the documentation requirements of the subcommittee and the commission between the years 1991-2013. The overall process of symbol granting is also described here, from the submission of a request to the decision by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. Railway management between 1946-1953

The aim of this paper was to describe the development administration in the territory of Czechoslovakia (CS) from the year 1946 to the year 1953.Goal was achieved by working with primary archival source documents and official newsletters. In the introduction I will briefly describe the development of administration from the year 1839, its changes during the period of the First Republic and its subsequent changes after the Munich agreement. After that I will outline the state of the organization of the Ministry of transportation during the period of the 3rd republic, I will report of the problems it faced and some period specific issues. In the penultimate part I will outline the reorganization of 1949 and its subsequent reform. Establishment of the Ministry of Railways during the year 1952. I will dedicate the last part of the paper to the national company Czechoslovak railways (CSD), its organization, organization of the national directorates and their changes until the year 1953.
