Tato práce se zabývá Podvýborem pro heraldiku a vexilologii Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky. Tematicky je rozdělena do dvou částí. První popisuje obecnou historii podvýboru od roku 1991 až do roku 2013, tedy od zřízení Komise pro heraldiku a vexilologii České národní rady až do konce 6. volebního období. Tato část také přibližuje práci komise na novém znaku ČR, evoluci expertní skupiny Parlamentu ČR a zřízení registru obecních symbolů REKOS. Druhá část se zabývá žádostmi o udělení symbolů a samotným procesem jejich udílení obecně. Nachází se zde popis náležitostí dokumentace podvýboru a komise mezi lety 1991- 2013. Je zde také popsán celkový proces udílení symbolů od podání žádosti až do rozhodnutí o udělení předsedy Poslanecké sněmovny ČR. Klíčová slova: heraldika, podvýbor Parlamentu ČR, vexilologie, udělování obecních znaků The thesis deals with the Subcommittee for Heraldry and Vexillology of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. It is divided thematically into two parts. The first part describes the general history of the subcommittee from 1991 to 2013, covering the establishment of the Commission for Heraldry and Vexillology of the Czech National Council up to the end of the 6th electoral term. This section also presents the work of the commission on the new coat of arms of the Czech Republic, the evolution of the expert group of the Czech Parliament, and the establishment of the registry of municipal symbols REKOS. The second part deals with requests for symbols and in general the process of granting them itself. It includes a description of the documentation requirements of the subcommittee and the commission between the years 1991-2013. The overall process of symbol granting is also described here, from the submission of a request to the decision by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic.
