Influence of spatial snow distribution on flood course

For the purpose of hydrological forecasting on mountains' and sub-mountains' rivers is important knowledge of distribution of snow water equivalent in the watershed. Submitted thesis therefore deals with comparison of 9 interpolation methods in terms of quality of their forecasting when predicting snow depth and snow water equivalent in watershed Bystřice (127,6 km2 ), which is situated in the northwest of Bohemia in the Ore mountains. Point data of snow depth and snow water equivalent used in interpolation were sampled during an off- road measuring in 17. 2. 2010 at the 14 snow sampling locations. The interpolation methods were: (1) Thiessen's polygons, (2) inverse distance weighting, (3) global polynomial (4) local polynomial (5) radial basis functions, (6) ordinary kriging, (7) cokriging, (8) residual kriging and (9) orographic interpolation. Independent variable-altitude used in the calculation of snow depth and snow water equivalent was used only in the last three listed methods. Predictive ability of interpolation methods was evaluated by using cross-validation and visual comparison of predicted maps. Gender aspects of parental choise of traditional and Montessori kindergarten

The thesis deals with gender aspects of parental choice of common and Montessori kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on topics related to both gender identity and its development and with the preschool period, which is described primarily in terms of gender. Given that important parts of childhood are toys, the theoretical part also focuses on the gender aspect and explores it. Gender equality is offered as one of the possible approaches to children upbringing and education. The Montessori method of education occupies a large space of the theoretical part. The thesis also compares Montessori kindergartens with common kindergartens. Research of the thesis is based on a qualitative analysis of interviews with mothers of children in the pre-school and early school age. This analysis goes through all the interviews. It searches and then compares common categories. The research shows that parents choosing a kindergarten for their child do not reflect forms of gender socialization in the kindergarten. Alternative kindergarten is often chosen by parents of children who apply elements of gender- sensitive education in their upbringing. Snow regime characteristic of the Zlatý Brook in the Krušné Mountains in years 2009-2011

This bachelor thesis is focused on the snow regime characteristic of Zlatý Brook in the Krušné Mountains. Both processes connected with snowmelt runoff and processes anticipating the runoff are described in this work. Data obtained in the catchment during the field measurements in winter periods 2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011are described and analyzed. Measured point data are completed with information available from gauged measurements. Special attention is paid mainly to the snow depth, snow water equivalent and their spatial distribution in the catchment. Harmonization family a working life of czech nurses

Background: The bachelor's thesis "Harmonization of family and work life of Czech nurses" deals with the possibility of reconciling family life with the demanding profession of nurse. Aims: The aim of the questionnaire survey was to find out how Czech nurses are able to manage shift work and family life. Another goal was to find out what share is divided between the division of leverage in their households and the subsequent care of the child. File and methods: Data collection took place in the University Hospital in Motol and in the Regional Hospital in Kladno, data was collected in an inpatient types and outpatient types of workplaces. The target group of respondents consisted of general and practical nurses. The Program Microsoft Excel was used to process the data and the program Statistica CZ 12 was used for the processing of basic statistical analysis and the elaboration of frequency tables. Results: The results showed that of the two hospitals surveyed, when the total number of respondents was 165 (70 respondents for ON Kladno and 95 respondents for Motol University Hospital), the division of household work is mostly in the hands of women, participants could express this part of the questionnaire in a percentage. Biosyntéza sekundárních metabolitů u Scenedesmus quadricauda v přítomnosti nanočástic

The theoretical part of thesis deals with microalgae, primary and secondary metabolism of plants, formation of the reactive oxygen species and origin of oxidative stress. Also it describes secondary metabolites, the characteristic of nanoparticles and impact on microalgae. The practical part deals with the impact of ZnO nanoparticles on secondary metabolism in Scenedesmus quadricauda. At first was observed the impact of nanoparticles on growth of microalgae. Then the content of photosynthetic pigments, total polyphenols, flavonoids and total antioxidant capacity was determined using spectrophotometric method. Also the content of chosen secondary metabolites was detected using HPLC. The growth of microalgae was stimulated by ZnO nanopartlicles during the first 4 days compared to control. Then the inhibition of growth was observed. The content of photosynthetic pigments decreased compared to control in samples with ZnO nanoparticles. Also the change of secondary metabolites, total polyphenols and flavonoids was observed.
