The chapter on employability is very important, dealing with its close relevance to education. In conclusion, I present legal governance of unemployment in the Czech Republic and summarize the possible ways of fighting unemployment, such as Operational Programs, handicapped persons' support, re-training or measures taken by corporations or the state. Psychological and social aspects of mobbing in an organization
Smrčková, Tereza ; Šnýdrová, Ivana (advisor) ; Krištofová, Zuzana (referee)
Mobbing is a specific form of mental violence characterised by orderliness, premeditation and long-lasting attacks with an increasing intensity. The causes and evolution of this pathological phenomen can be seen not only in the psychological and sociological fields but also in the insufficiencies that arise from the very principles of every organisation. The main motive, considered the background of mobbing, is usually the need to get rid of an "incommodius" colleague. The originator of mobbing tries not to lose or threaten his/her position and significance in the organizational hierarchy. The impacts caused by mobbing affect not only the aggressor and his/her victim but influences also the immediate environment of the persons involved. It negativelly projects into the workplace culture, into the family and other close relations of the victim and aggressor and also into the overall social climate. In my thesis I present the basic fundaments of the origins, evolvemet and impacts of mobbing in a workplace. All these elements are viewed in terms of psychological and social aspects. The emphasis is put on their imminent relation and cohesion.

Extent and origins of inequalities in the access to continuing education
Visinger, Radek ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Krištofová, Zuzana (referee)
In my dissertation I deal with the problem of persistent educational inequalities. The participation in continuing education determine to a great extent one's life opportunities. That's why the promotion of equal educational opportunity is so important. The decision made in order to reduce social inequalities by means of education should be based on an argument that reproduction or intensification of these inequalities constitutes unfairness or even discrimination in the use of individual social rights. There's no freedom when deprived of an available alternative and furthermore it isn't morally admissible to handicap however a person by admitting criteria different from degree of capacity and individual effort. Moreover I call attention to some fateful consequences of the extension of market strategy into the field of education and I analyze different theoretical approaches to redistribution in order to put everybody on an equal footing with the access to education. In the third part I dissert upon principal sociological theories which try to explain the genesis and the probable reproduction of educational inequalities. I draw attention to the meritocracy principle, different theories of reproduction of educational structure and to the rational choice theory. The free access of masses to the superior...
