Effect of Cement Bypass Dust on Cracking Tendency of Alkali-Activated Slag during Drying
Krejčová, Marie ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Bílek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of bypass cement dust on cracking of alkali activated slag. Significant shrinkage and cracking prevent greater use of alkali activated slag. The length changes and strength of the mixtures with different amount of bypass cement dust were measured at various curing conditions. In these mixtures, cracks were observed and their amount was evaluated by image analysis. It has been found that the addition of dust can reduce the amount of cracks. Treating the prisms in a humid environment leads to a reduction of cracks, especially during long-term treatment. In order to improve flexural and compressive strength, it is preferable to use dust as a replacement for part of aggregates and not as a partial slag replacement.
Evolution of rheological parameters of platicized alkali-activateted slag in time
Krejčová, Marie ; Kalina, Lukáš (referee) ; Bílek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of the rheological properties of plasticized alkali-activated slag over time and depending on the timing of plasticizer and activator addition. These properties are very essential for the use of this material in practice. The main part of this work was oscillating measurements. Two types of measurements were performed – amplitude sweep and time sweep. The aim of the amplitude sweep was to determine the limit properties of the sample related to the destructive structure when the time sweep was continuous monitoring of the evolving structure. Furthermore, calorimetric measurements and solidification measurements were performed using a Vicat apparatus. The silica modulus activator and the method of adding the lignosulfonate-based plasticizer were changed for the individual mixtures. It was found that with the silica module 0 (activation with NaOH) the plasticizer works very well, better results were obtained with the addition of the plasticizer at the beginning of mixing and the activator only later. With increasing silica modulus, the importance of the presence of a plasticizer decreased.
Development of the Electronic Test of Memory for the Elderly
Krejčová, Marie ; Krámská, Lenka (advisor) ; Bezdíček, Ondřej (referee)
Self-administered electronic tests for memory are a modern approach. They can help the elderly gain insight into their memory status and recommend an examination by a specialist. The topic of the master thesis is the development of an electronic memory test for the elderly. The existing electronic tests of memory are described in the theoretical part. The research project consists of two parts. In the first phase of the project, an electronic test of memory was created. The psychometric properties of this test were determined in the second phase of the project on 108 people over the age of 55. A total of 74 persons were examined by selected neuropsychological tests to determine the correlation between the scores of the created electronic test and the scores of neuropsychological tests. From this group, 45 people with normal cognitive function were selected to match the socio-demographic characteristics of a group of 34 patients with mild disability of cognitive function. The reason was to be able to compare the results of the electronic test between these two groups. The overall score of the created electronic test, which is the sum of scores from its individual parts, differs significantly between healthy people and patients. The overall score of the electronic test is statistically significantly...

Connection between sleep and memory consolidation in elderly people with and without cognitive impairment
Krejčová, Marie ; Kulišťák, Petr (advisor) ; Panenková, Erika (referee)
This thesis focuses on a connection between sleep and memory consolidation in people older than 55 years with and without cognitive impairment. The theoretical part discusses how sleep changes during aging and what influence these changes could have on cognitive functions (memory etc.). In a long-term perspective, sleep could play a role in a gradual decline of cognitive functions. Thus, modern researches focus on multifactorial causes of neurodegenerative diseases. These studies include those that examine a relationship between quality of sleep and cognitive functions. For better understanding this topic, these researches are described in this paper as well. In the second part of the thesis, a research design is outlined, which could clarify the relationship. It is examined by comparing memory consolidation of people older than 55 years with and without cognitive impairment. It is considered by amount of remembered material during a day/night. The study might discover, whether sleep disorders could play a role in the decline of cognitive functions during aging.

Comparison of management of selected objects administered by the National Heritage Institute
Volfová, Lucie ; Netková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Krejčová, Marie (referee)
The theoretical part deals with three main themes: tourism, culture and historic preservation. Tourism is defined, then there is a typology of tourism and attractions. Culture is discussed in terms of its importance for cultural tourism in the specific conditions of the Czech Republic. Part which is focused on historic preservation is not only about its historical development, but also its present form in the Czech Republic. The practical part is aimed at the financing of monuments, castles and chateaux in general. The main part is focused on the analysis of the management of monuments - Chateau Konopiště and Chateau Březnice - and their subsequent comparison.
Possibilities in financing the reconstruction of cultural monuments - Mladá Vožice castle
Krzáková, Linda ; Netková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Krejčová, Marie (referee)
The paper determines the general definition of cultural monuments, its legislative, and institutional framework and sources of financing. General knowledge is applied in actually applying for financing for renewal of cultural sight - the castle in Mladá Vožice. Financial sources for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of cultural heritage outside the owner's own funds can be drawn from public funds of the state budget, budgets of territorial-administrative units, or from foreign sources. Other options are the collections and yields from the economic use of the building. For withdrawal of funds is necessary to determine the purpose which the monument is used for. This is closely related to the amount of funds needed for the rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Analysis of tour guide services at Konopiště Castle
Adamcová, Adéla ; Netková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Krejčová, Marie (referee)
The thesis deals with Konopiště Castle, one of the most significant monuments in the Czech Republic. It describes its tour operation, looks into the new trends in tour guiding and considers whether these trends could be applied to the operation of the castle. It suggests creating an "open castle tour" and tries to find out whether the visitors of the castle would be interested in such a tour and under what conditions it could be applied to Konopiště.
