Methods for assessment of body composition

This bachelor thesis deals with the composition of the human body and methods of its analysis. The theoretical part is focused on basic food nutrients, nutrition recommendations, energy needs of the organism, body composition and methods for determining body composition. The experimental part contains a comparison of two methods for determining body composition – a method of bioelectrical impedance and a method NIR-spectrometry. Other section is devoted to a study of the eating habits of group of students, consisting of evaluation of diets and the questionnaires.

Selection of appropriate indigenous yeasts for wine production

The aim of this diploma thesis was the selection of appropriate indigenous yeasts for wine production. Tested yeasts were isolated from the grapes from the winery Maňák Žádovice. The yeasts isolated within theses in 2009 – 2012 have been also tested, and commercial wine yeast have been tested for comparison. In the theoretical part the focus is on the technology of wine, in particular fermentation. The work is also focused on yeasts metabolism and taxonomy. There was described the principle of PCR-RFLP, and methods used to characterize the properties of isolated yeasts. In the experimental part was made isolation of yeasts, theirs identification using PCR-RFLP and to select the most suitable yeast in wine making proces were performed physiological tests.

Regional reporting of Czech Television in years 1992 - 2012 by internal staff

The main aim of this work is to describe the history and development of Czech Television's regional news coverage in years from 1992 till 2012, using the testimonies of direct TV staff involved in this reporting beyond the available resources, thereby expanding the amount of information on this issue. To achieve this information, the oral history method was used and the subsequent verification of the information obtained was done using the literature, diploma theses, annual reports and other sources in this work specified. The result of this work is the extension and addition of new facts and information about the history of Czech Television's regional news, especially of internal character, not yet obtainable from available professional publications or public reports and data. These include information on the nature of interpersonal relations in regional news, the attempt to influence the outward processing and thematic focus of the editorial offices and the specific technical and structural development of individual regional editorial offices. Vykazování goodwillu ve vybraných systémech finančního výkaznictví

Reporting of goodwill in selected systems of financial reporting. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2016. The thesis is focused on the recognition, reporting and measurements after the recognition of goodwill within the Czech accounting legislation, International Financial Reporting Standards, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the British Accepted Accounting Principles. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the particular areas within these financial reporting systems. The second part focuses on the practical application of knowledge identified in the theoretical part. According to analyzed standards dealing with reporting of goodwill are the areas compared, evaluated and the differences are defined.
