Intercultural aspects of cooperation in an international company. Social psychological approach

The disertation work focuses on currently highly observed issue of intercultural cooperation. Following the change of social situation the topic has become both a practical issue and a subjekt of research study. It compares and analyzes crosscultural and intercultural approach and criticizes both approaches for supporting social stereotypes, especially thein negative aspects. It further emphasizes social psychological aspects of the issue, particularly social perception, social groups, hierarchical structure and organization of joint activities as systemproducing and meaningful source of mutual relationships. Supporting this by own research in ŠKODA AUTO it perceives such perspective as very efficient since it is based on practical experience and it also aims at practical problems. This doctoral thesis deals with the problem of post-conflict socialization of young Kosovo Albanians and Kosovo Serbs into the pre-conflict and conflict narratives and images about each other, which are reflected in expressed ethnic distance between the groups; in expressed relative importance of different aspects of identity; in their assumptions about their own and in their mutual projections about the other's markers of adulthood. Also, we look into personal values as expression of what does not differ between the groups. In the theoretical part we first examine the constructs of citizenship, nationalism, and socialization; we provide a historical overview of the development of citizen identity in Kosovo which allows for an understanding of the context of our study. We continue with an overview of important studies and theories describing developmental specifics - including identity development - of growing up in conflict and/or post-conflict areas; with our main focus on adolescents. We pay special attention to processes of reconciliation from a psychological point of view: the role of intergenerational and possibly transgenerational transmission of trauma, image theory, duplex theory of hatred, contact hypothesis. Work motivation

This study thesis is focused on the issues of the incentive of work activities. The first part is devoted to the exposition of the issue. It relates to the most important terms and knowledge about the motivation of people, the field of the work with a human and the cognition of the reasons and influences of motivation. The study is focused on the work incentives, work productivity, work contentment and workers´ remuneration.The practical part of this study is focused on the data processing that was extracted in the time of the research activity. The data and the sources for the assessment of the research were acquired due to the method of controlled dialog and questioning. The dialog is focused on the work incentives of workers. The ascertained data were analyzed and elaborated with the help of the tabular editor MS Excel.

This Thesis is aimed at the recruitment, selection and intake of new employees of the selected company. The theoretical sections describe the findings, acquired from the professional sources. Relevant prerequisites, concepts and procedures are defined. The empirical sections present the selected company from their field of operations point of view and analyse their methods of recruitment of new employees. The closing sectiions advise of and propose the changes to be implemented in order to achieve higher level of effectivity of the recruitment system.
Employee training

This thesis deals with training of employees. It is focused on job description by method of profesiography and evaluation of efficiency of training for selected working position. Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical, which deals with survey findings and practical part. Theoretical part deals with issues connected with human resources as learning . education and development of professional skills. Another part is dedicated to the methodology of profesiography. Basic method for analysis of working position are described here. It leans on method of statement of work executors, which has been done by using Falangans method of critical cases and by method of statement of superior. These statements are further compared with with direct observation and written materials, namely with competence analysis and legislation. After processing of selected data these are evaluated and a proposal for streamlining of executors working performance is created by using proper training and education.
Work motivation

The aim of the thesis Work motivation is in theoretical part based on the study of the expert literature and it is to define the terms of psychology of the work , human resources and introduce the possibilities of staff motivation and improving of their skill and expertise. In the practical part it´s aim is to analyze the motivational tools and try to capture the corporate culture at a selected institution in the Czech Television. In the research part of the questionnaire focuses on mapping the motivation needs. Detects employee preferences and personal experience in the workplace, such as stress at work, time constraints, or salary satisfaction. Guided interview with the manager of Czech Television Dr. moderators. Jakub Zelezny follows the observed results of the survey. The main method in the evaluation of the questionnaires is the analysis of the results of the questionnaires, as more appropriate methods that are used in the evaluation of a questionnaire survey, there are mathematical methods and then consequently comparison of the results.

This thesis is focused on foreigners employing in Czech Republic with special attention on Prague´s labour market. The influence of foreign workers grows with increasing number of those people. Finding the equal working position for foreigners significantly helps to integrate them to the society smoothly. The main goal was to get and describe responses from working foreigners that reflects current situation of work environment. The main question of this research was: What kind of barriers has to foreigner overcome to be employed in Prague? Next questions were focused on foreigner´s experiences with discrimination from the side of employers. This thesis showing the Prague employer´s attitude to employing of foreigners from third countries, from European Union, European Economic Community and from Switzerland.

This bachelor thesis deals with selection of employees in the state administration. Approaching the problem of the possible presence of nepotism in selection of employees. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the search, recruiting and selecting staff from literature. The next point of the theoretical part is the selection of employees in the local government units on response to the law n. 312/2002 Sb., which is about local government units officials and amended later laws. In the theoretical part are the social and human consequences of the choice of employees in connection with nepotism. The practical part is focused on interviews with employees of municipal office.
