Personalization methods and applications analysis in E-Commerce

Presented bachelor thesis deals with the personalization phenomenon, particularly in the E-Commerce environment. The aim of the thesis is to identify personalization methods and their applications in E-Commerce and to characterize their usage in chosen categories of E-Shops in the Czech Republic. The thesis introduces the structure of possible relations between personalization methods and their applications on the basis of presented characteristics. Methodology presented in the text is used in the current state of use of the personalization methods and applications analysis. The main contribution of the thesis is the definition of the basic terms and their relationship in a chosen field as well as providing a report of the personalization usage in practice.
State of methods utilization of building an information architecture in Czech republic

The aim of this thesis is to determine the degree of utilization methods of building information architecture by internet solution suppliers in Czech republic and the reasons why they use them. For desired objective achieving the questionnaire survey was used. The knowledge gained from literature and other materials made possible to define the concept of internet solution and identify the types that serves as the basis for the selection of suppliers who are by the questionnaire addressed. The term information architecture was defined, its basic elements and the process of building. Within of this process are identified and described methods of building information architecture. From these methods that are based on literature are chosen the methods that enter to the questionnaire. The benefit of this thesis is to map and description of methods of building the information architecture, the description of state of utilization of these methods by internet solutions suppliers in the Czech Republic.
SaaS in Web Design

This thesis is aimed to evaluate if the current SaaS market is able to meet functional re-quirements of web design in order to appropriately support web design's activities. The theoretical part introduces the web design model which describes web design's functional requirements. The next section presents a research concept that describes model assessment (i.e. solutions delivered as SaaS that support web design) and evaluation process. The results show that the current SaaS market is able to meet the requirements of web design in areas where SaaS solutions are able to provide an essential added value to customers in comparison to on-premise software.
Comparison shopping as a way to increase sales on the Internet

This bachelor thesis deals with a part of the Internet services, that's known as comparison shopping. Comparison shopping services on the Internet describes from a theoretical point of view but also from a practical point of view. Introduction to Internet marketing enriches by the acquired data and points to the importance of marketing mix in the context of a price comparison. The concept of price comparison is evaluated on the basis of practical experience from user perspective and in terms of vendor. This work shows, how the comparison shopping works in real world, what problems it has, what solutions are possible to do and suggests one of the potential way to future extensions. Based on the data and analysis explains the chosen corporate strategy. Using publicly available data and information collected by Google Analytics to evaluate the current status of comparison shopping on the internet. One part of this work is about introducing a new price comparison shopping service. Describes detailed the situation of Czech comparison shopping services in comparison with the new service introduced. Finally compares the measured metrics from the newly established service with the competition.

This work is focused on the collective discount trades on the internet. The main goal of this paper is to describe the concept of collective buying, campaign process on daily deals website and analyze the experience of consumers and merchants. The first chapter deals with the history and origins of collective buying on the internet and beyond. The second chapter deals with the concept of collective buying. It also describes marketing activities the daily deals websites and the role of aggregators. The third chapter describes the situation and market developments in the world and particularly in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter is focused on different perspectives of the participants of discount shopping. The fifth chapter covers the legal and ethical aspect. The sixth chapter describes the process of campaigns on the deal of the day website along with case studies. In the seventh chapter the work deals with the analysis of the research carried out between buyers and sellers on the daily deals website.

In this bachelor thesis, I am going to cover the environment of Twitter. Theoretical part of the work is focused on concept of Twitter, its potential for business activities and introducing tools for extending Twitter experience. In practical part, I am analyzing an actual use of Twitter by czech companies, especially their timelines.
Creation, promotion and monetization possibilities content websites on the czech Internet

The main contribution of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the possible monetization of the content websites and presentation of successful models combination based on several years of my practical experience. As another benefit the work, the creation of a new view of the websites classification can be taken into account, their development and effective promotion. Logical structure of this work has two basic parts. The first one is dedicated to developing and promoting a website. This is mostly a theoretical analysis with a focus on meeting the prerequisites for successful implementation of the site in terms of its revenues. The second part is mainly based on practical knowledge and deals with the specific methods of earnings resulting from the operation of a content website.
SaaS and Web 2.0 in travel industry

Second Life - usage for business activities

The theme of this bacherol thesis is virtual world Second Life and its usage for business activities. At the first part of thesis I'm going to introduce readers with the virtual world. I'm going to describe how the virtual world works, technical aspects and history. Also I focus on a users, which are be found in the virtual world. I'm going to split users into three catogories, I describe them and associate them with a suitable examples. At the next part of thesis, I focus on a business activities of the companies from the real world, in the virtual world Second Life. I will do a basic split of the activities in light of its costs and gains. I associate a suitable examples. I'm going to look closer on regions where are active czech communities. Thereinafter I look on a particual companies acuating in the virtual world Second Life at the czech communities. I look closer on their business activities and analyse them in light of its costs and gains for specific company. At final, I will reflect about future of virtual world Second Life. Objective of bacherol thesis is make readers acquainted with the virtual world Second Life. Make its closer analyse in light of possible business activities for a separeted users, focused mainly on a companies. Analyse business activities on suitable examples from a czech background and figure out if applies do its or not with a respect in future developement. For elaboration of thesis I used every accesible litarature, sources and also own research which I made with my active being in a virtual world Second Life.
Využití CMS Drupal v prostředí Multi level marketingu

In order for organizations to keep up their competitiveness today, sooner or later they are exposed to the selection of solutions to support their processes. Companies focused on the multi level marketing are no exception. The purpose of my work is to create IT support in the Drupal CMS for particular company doing business on principles of multi level marketing, and point out that, using open source solutions can be created system that can handle the IT support in organization. For my work I will usefree available modules to create functionality in Drupal. I believe that my work will help companies in answer the question of using Drupal CMS. The core of my work is process analysis and design of IT support. The creation of this support will be described with the selection and configuration of modules in the Drupal CMS environment.
