Processing of XML Descriptions of OTP

Tato práce se zaměřuje na návrh a implementaci modulárního programu pro zpracování XML popisu OTP klíčů používaných především v zařízeních od výrobců Yubico a RSA. Zároveň také práce popisuje návrh a implementaci modulu pro vložení získaných informací do adresářového serveru 389DS. Součástí práce je seznámení s OTP, standartem PSKC a protokolem LDAP. Dále je v práci uveden návrh a implementace obou částí programu. V závěru práce rozebírá možnosti dalšího vývoje aplikace.
Possible ratings for photographs

This thesis addresses the question of the perception of photographs. It is based on the work of R. Greene and A. Oliva (2008) and further expands it. These authors investigated which global properties people identify on photographs of natural scenes and how consistent their evaluation of these properties is. In this paper I used general photographs without any thematic limitations. In the first part of the research I examined what global properties people determine during a quick viewing of a general photograph. The obtained general properties (movement limitation and fun) were added to the properties found in R. Greene's and A. Oliva's work. In the second part of the research I used a computer program for hierarchical grouping to determine how consistent the rating of these global properties is when different people rate the photographs. The resulting consistency is expressed as the average of all interobserver correlations for a given property. The experiment revealed that the transience property has the highest consistency rate (r=0,516), followed by movement in the scene (r=0,457) and openness (r=0,450). Fun (r=0,283) and navigability (r=0,245) exhibit the lowest rate of consistency. Lower concordance observed with general photographs is in my opinion caused by the higher complexity of the...
Performance based adaptation of Scala programs

Dynamic adaptivity of a computer system is its ability to modify the behavior according to the environment in which it is executed. It allows the system to achieve better performance, but usually requires specialized architecture and brings more complexity. The thesis presents an analysis and design of a framework that allows simple and fluent performance-based adaptive development at the level of functions and methods. It closely examines the API requirements and possibilities of integrating such a framework into the Scala programming language using its advanced syntactical constructs. On theoretical level, it deals with the problem of selecting the most appropriate function to execute with given input based on measurements of previous executions. In the provided framework implementation, the main stress is laid on modularity and extensibility, as many possible future extensions are outlined. The solution is evaluated on a variety of development scenarios, ranging from input adaptation of algorithms to environment adaptations of complex distributed computations in Apache Spark.
Bonus - Malus System with Deductibles

This thesis deals with the option of substitution of malus surcharge on pre- mium in a classical bonus - malus system with deductible. Firstly, we clarify the basic principles of bonus - malus systems, then we show how to model the expec- ted claim amount of the insureds based on their characteristics and we explain how to correctly select values of premium discounts and surcharges in the classes of bonus - malus systems. Next we clarify the concept of deductible and introduce the technique of its application on these systems. Finally we show the practical application of deductible on two models of bonus - malus systems and we evaluate and compare the results. 1
Named Entity Normalization in Czech Texts

Named entities are collocations used to refer to real world objects in text. Named entity normalization is a process of generating the basic form for a given named entity. The thesis is focused on creating a rule- based procedure for named entity normalization in Czech texts. The process of designing individual rules is closely examined. Stress is laid on the fact that each rule is motivated by entities from real-world texts. Additionally, some aspects of Czech language syntax are analyzed in order to achieve the highest possible accuracy. Based on the theoretical description of the procedure, a normalization application is implemented, and its accuracy is evaluated by comparison with manually normalized entities. Together with already existing tools for automatic named entity recognition, it is possible to use this normalizer in other text processing tasks, such as machine translation, searching and categorization, etc. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Changes in cadastral offices and their clients arising from the new Cadastral act

This diploma thesis deals with issues of entering data regarding the right of ownership and other real rights into the cadaster of real estates. Issues of the data entry are compared before and after the new cadastral law went into effect in year 2014. Theoretical part briefly summarizes historical development of evidence of real estates in the area of current Czech Republic. Both cadastral laws and other law regulations are characterized. Further, the process of data entry of real rights is described along with the changes introduced by the new cadastral law. Practical part presents data obtained at the cadastral office of Litoměřice. Data gathered in years 2013 and 2014 are compared including the changes for the office employees and their clients stemming from the new cadastral law. Recommendations that could lead to improvement of operations of the cadastral offices and greater satisfaction of clients are suggested based on the evaluated data.

The paper further examines the factors, which influence the energy security, possible threats and perspectives, which could lead to increased energy independence of the country. The thesis also elaborates on the new trends in the field of natural gas exploitation in Israel.
