Implementation of listening techniques into a primary school classroom
Jeřábková, Anna ; Poche Kargerová, Jana (advisor) ; Vallin, Petra (referee)
This thesis deals with the matter of listening skill as part of the communication key competence. The author does not target situations when the pupil listens to the teacher's speech, but situations when the elementary school classmates listen to each other. It is based on a long-term scientific discourse on the subject. The aim of this thesis is to first theoretically present the communication activity of listening as a fairly demanding process which, although requiring the same amount of attention and training as other communication activities, has been quite neglected on a global scale in the school curriculum. At the same time, the theoretical section puts forward specific proposals on how the listening skill of the elementary-school class collective can be supported and developed. The practical part, pedagogical action research, is based on theoretical knowledge. It aims to observe progress in communication focusing on listening skills between third-grade pupils, in a class where the author acts as a teacher's assistant. In total three periods of action research maintain a cyclical pattern of problem decsription, action plan, action and analysis. The research is supported by didactic games designed so that the skill of listening can be studied and developed by the pupils themselves. At the...
The Helsinki process and it's impact on the regime oposition in GDR and ČSSR
Jeřábková, Anna ; Nigrin, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kučera, Jaroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the opposition movement in the former Czechoslovak Socialistic Republic and the German Democratic Republic and aims at their comparison after signing the Helsinki Final Act of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe. This Helsinki Accords committed both states to the observance of human rights. In the first part of the thesis the approaches of different authors to use the term of opposition and dissent are defined. The second part primarily outlines the international situation after the World War II and mentions the need for a European Security Conference, which after all led to the CSCE. In the third part, the opposition movements in both states are presented, and it is investigated how the situation of the opposition in both countries was influenced by the Helsinki process. The Charter 77 was quickly formed in Czechoslovakia. It referred to the commitments made in the Helsinki Final Act in its statement. The development was slower in the GDR. There was a stable opposition from the circle of the Evangelical Church, and mainly addressed was the peace question. The Human Rights Movement was inspired by the Czechoslovak Charter 77 and it began to emerge only in the second half of the eighties. This indicates that the development of the opposition movement...

Jeřábková, Anna ; Hejzlarová, Eva (advisor) ; Štěpánková Štýbrová, Martina (referee)

It concerns also the legislation which was accepted or cancelled and the whole background of these documents origin. The core of the empirical part is analysis of legislative documents affecting single mothers and their families and analysis of stenographic records of Parliament's meetings. The outlined development is explained in the context of theory of social constructions of target populations, depoliticization theory and path dependence theory. The aim of this paper is to find out how the situation of single mothers has developed since 1989 and whether it is improving or getting worse. The assumption is there has been a transformation since 1989, from socialist greater protection on the labor market and greater social support to extinction of single mothers as a specific target group of social policy.

Jeřábková, Anna ; Tušková, Eva (advisor) ; Nekolová, Markéta (referee)
This thesis deals with the problems of single mothers when they return to work after parental leave and it identifies changes of these problems over the last 25 years. In the last decade there has been a significant increase in the number of incomplete families, so it is important to pay attention to a group of single mothers. This social group is burdened by high rate of unemployment, which contributes to their difficult position on the labor market. They also face major complications in the harmonization of family and work life. This thesis focuses on single mothers' view on their situation. Whether they feel disadvantaged and which problems are the greatest in entering the labor market after parental leave. The aim of this study is also to find out if these problems are different today and were different before 1989 because of the change in regimes. Problems which the mother met will be served from their own perspective and their own experiences. To fulfill the aims of this work we have used primary data from qualitative research, which was realized by semi-structured interviews with six single mothers. We have also used secondary data from documents which are related to the issue of single parent and documents which are related to the change of the regime in 1989.
Use of Precious Metals in Mintage
Jeřábková, Anna ; Stará, Dana (advisor) ; Srbek, Pavel (referee)
The paper is focused on the use of precious metal, in particular gold and silver, in the coining process. The first part of the paper searches for the growth of coining process on the Czech territory since its very beginning until the 21st century and development of selected mints and their positions in a given period. Simultaneously, together with the mint development, the paper describes the issue of coins, the method of the coinage, the coin visual aspect, and, marginally, the coin falsification. For reason of better orientation in the mint & coin history, the paper seeks to depict particular periods of the Czech currency. Following the coins, another issue, medals, is described, thereby giving a comprehensive summary of the Czech coining process. The above description is followed by the practical part that analyses price development of specific precious metal depending upon the currency rate of CZK versus USD in the period of 1991 - 2015. Following the price development, investments in precious metal are evaluated. These are evaluated in relation to two ways of investments. One of them is the option of investment in a commemorative coin issued by the Czech National Bank and minted by the Czech Mint; the other one is an investment in gold-based coins. The paper concludes with an analysis of activities of and management by the Czech Mint, being the only mint in the Czech Republic.
