Influence of particle properties on microrheological measurements of biopolymer solutions
Hradecká, Lucie ; Venerová, Tereza (referee) ; Hnyluchová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the evaluation of particle influence on microrheological measurements of biopolymer solutions. Hyaluronic acid was the biopolymer and glycerol solutions of different concentration were chosen as model system. Polystyrene particles of different diameters (0,5 m, 1 m a 2 m) were used for the measurements. Results of passive microrheology were compared with classic rheology and with tabulated values in case of glycerol.
Microrheology in colloid systems
Hradecká, Lucie ; Burgert, Ladislav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on the evaluation of the influence of particle surface properties on the results of microrheological measurements with biopolymer solutions. Hyaluronan has been chosen as negatively charged polymer, chitosan as positively charged polymer and glycerol and its solutions of various concentrations were used as homogenous model systems. Dynamic light scattering and single particle tracking microrheology were chosen from passive microrheological techniques. Particles with various surface modifications (neutral, positive surface charge and negative surface charge) were used for the experiments. The results of microrheological techniques were then compared with classic rheology and moreover the glycerol results were compared with tabulated values.
(Non-)Docile Bodies. The Pole Dance and Fitness Phenomenon Through a Gender Lens
Hradecká, Lucie ; Sokolová, Věra (advisor) ; Jiroutová Kynčlová, Tereza (referee)
Pole dance and fitness is often associated with prostitution and pornography result of which is the fact that it is, as an inappropriate form and sexually explicit stylization of body movements, denied its artistic and sports value. Despite the stigma, which this discipline entails, there was its dynamic development, if not mainstreamization, in the last decade. Recent researches interpret this form of movement/dance as a feminine or feminizing practice. The presented thesis, however, takes issue with their conclusions and attempts to the contrary, to draw attention to the possibility of subversive rearticulation of normative prescriptions of gender relations that are emerging in the context of this phenomenon. The thesis is theoretically grounded in poststructuralist feminist theories that are defined against the essentialist conceptions of gender. All the data were collected using a participant observation method and six in-depth, semi-structured interviews with (co-)owners of the studios specialized in teaching of pole dance/fitness. All my respondents participated in the establishment and institutionalization of the discipline in the Czech Republic and they perceive pole dance/fitness as one of the most important factors of their lives to which they dedicate themselves intensively for a long...
Development of the Methodology of Left-hander's Writing and Teacher's Attitude toward Left-handed Children
Hradecká, Lucie ; Kropáčková, Jana (advisor) ; Wildová, Radka (referee)
The thesis follows the development of the methodology of left-handers's writing, teacher's usage of the knowledge of methodology in a practice, researching the materials aimed in left- handness dedicated to teachers and parents, describing statements and opinions of the concrete primary teachers on left-hander's methodology. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the empiric part. In the therotical part there are defined terms laterality and dominance, the development of the methodology of left-hander's writing since the year 1967 when this type of writing was legalised in the Czech Republic. The possibilities of getting information about the problematic of left-handness are summed, including books and trainings for primary school teachers. Finally, available equipment for left-handers is introduced. The research combines two methods - questionnaire and interview. The quantitative research is supposed to come up with the concrete percentage of left-handed pupils and with the general knowledge of teachers connected with methodology of left-hander's writing. The qualitative research was made by the form of interiewing teachers and Ivo Vodička. The aim of the thesis is to find out the way how to train teachers effectively based on researched information. KEYWORDS laterality, diagnostics of...

Internal communication in the Holding PNS
Hradecká, Lucie ; Dvořáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kleibl, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is devoted to internal communications in the holding company PNS. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts: communication, internal communication and its tools, methods and barriers. The practical part is focused on the holding PNS and through an anonymous survey analyzes the internal communication and employee views on methods of communication. Based on the results obtained from the survey then evaluate the use of communication tools, efficiency of communication tools and employee satisfaction. The conclusion summarizes the results and proposed some recommendations that could lead to improving the current level of internal communication in the company.
