The influence of emotions on the products of individual creative work

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the creativity of the individual is influenceable by emotional stimuli, based on the realization of the psychological experiment. Consequently, to propose recommendations based on the research results for economic entities which are using the creative potential of their employees. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge about creativity, its definition, and various approaches to creativity from the 18th century up to the present perception of its significance for organisations, while trying to gain the competitive advantage in a rapidly changing business environment. The second part of the thesis deals with the methods of the research, the hypothesis and the principles of the research The last part of the thesis deals with a description of the preparation of the experiment, the process of its realization. the analysis of the research output data, the interpretation of the results and the formulation of the recommendations for organizations.
Cooperation of high schools with external contractors in preparing school educational programs

This thesis, Cooperation of high schools with external contractors in preparing school educational programs, deals with the question whether it would be possible and beneficial for high schools to cooperate with companies on the preparation or modification of their educational programs, with the goal of improving the quality of education. After initial contributions from experts who provided negative replies to this question, the view was focused on the root of the issue - what are the historical pillars of public schools and pedagogy, what does science say about learning and teaching, how pedagogy reacts to the crisis of science. After comparing literal sources and results from interview with the experts, in combination with a trace and activity analysis, a theory was established that public education is reaching a point of crisis, has not changed in its essence since its beginning and that the best solution might be the establishment of alternative educational institutions.
Intercultural differences in working team

This master thesis focuses on the intercultural differences in a team. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate on the example of Siemens Ltd, how the intercultural differences affect on the working environment, and whether they provoke any kind of conflicts or not. Furthermore, the aim of the following thesis is to provide the recommendations on the improvement of effective collaboration within the team. There were used mainly Hofstede dimensions, which described the various cultures of the team members. A research for the practical part has been done within a multicultural team, which is composed of twenty members. For the research were used a structured questionnaire method and personal interview with a team manager.
Risk and prevention of the burnout syndrome during a work career

This dissertation identifies factors causing the burnout syndrome, which occur especially in the area of work career. It discusses risks that cause the burnout syndrome and the possibilities of its prevention. The theoretical part analyses particular aspects of burnout and describes career as a significant part of human life. The second part of the dissertation evaluates research that was conducted in a chosen organisation. Findings regarding a stress prevention programme are discussed in the second part, as well as the topic of how ready participants are to use the gained knowledge in real life. The paper also assesses how employees and their supervisors evaluate the stress prevention programme. The purpose of this dissertation is to analyse the effectiveness of the stress prevention programme and its impacts. Some suggestions of possible improvements within the programme are also mentioned.
Burnout syndrome among students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague

The main essence of this Master's thesis is to examine students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague and then determine whether students are at risk of burnout or already suffering from it. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the terms - particularly burnout syndrome, its risk factors, symptoms and stages. Then there is the section dedicated to the prevention and treatment of burnout syndrome. Also noteworthy is the comparison of relations between burnout syndrome and stress, depression, and time management. The next chapter is about the characteristics of people who may be at risk of burnout, and a description of professions, which are most affected by burnout. The end of this part is about the University of Economics, Prague, the Faculty of Business Administration and its students. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which is based on questionnaire survey, which shows whether students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague are at risk of burnout syndrome or already suffering from it. After evaluation of the questionnaires and evaluate hypotheses at the end of the work a few recommendations for students.
