Acyclic Profinet Communication between Sinamics Converters and Simatic S7-1200 PLCs

This paper deals with acyclic communication of Siemens Simatic S7-1200 PLCs and Sinamics drives on the Profinet industrial bus. Various possibilites of communication of the devices in accordance to the PROFIdrive profile is presented. General Proxy FBs for acyclic read/write of the drive's parameters are implemented. Together with other two FBs, that make use of acyclic communication to read the drive's fault buffer and to adjust an absolute encoder, an application with visualization for a simple positioning and for a demonstration of the Proxy FBs functionality is presented using a demo box.

Flow Measurement of Hot Dusty Gas

The bachelor thesis deals with the measurement of hot dusty gas. The introduction outlines the problems of measurement. Another part of the work contains a theoretical introduction to the measurement of gas flow. In successive chapters the basic principles and characteristics of suitable methods for measuring the hot dusty gases are described. Finally, the function blocks are implemented in the Simatic STEP7 for calculation of volume flow rate and blocks are tested on PLC.

Search in Semantically-Enriched Texts

This thesis deals with searches within large-scale text data, which are enriched by semantic information, especially the highlighting of named entities. The thesis begins by analysing methods used for the indexing of partly structured text data and the methods used for searching. The main body of the thesis consists of the description and implementation of a query engine, which analyses queries and requirements on range and structure. This query is later converted into an MG4J search engine format and applies restrictions on the results. These results have been tested on time response, as well as on a number of results, which are then compared to older results obtained from English Wikipedia.

There is used analysis absolute roadsings, distance roadsings, ratio roadsings and analysis system roadsings in work. By using those methodology is achieved purposes, namely evaluation of financial situation company Agrovykup, a.s. Contribution firm are constructive findings and recommendation for improvement financial situation by the help of which firm is able to achieve prosperity.

The basic principles and capabilities of development using Niagara Framework, on which Hawk is based, are explained. Lastly, the specific components and external database application is described.

Technological process simulation

This paper deals with a design of an inverted pendulum model and its controller in Matlab/Simulink, a conversion of the model and its controller to the ANSI C language and its implementation to B&R PLC's. The source code for B&R PLC's is generated automatically by the B&R Automation Studio Target for Simulink library. The first part deals with the design of a mathematical model of the inverted pendulum and its simulation in Matlab/Simulink, followed by a design of a LQ controller for this model using Matlab functions and a description of the B&R Automation Studio Target for Simulink library. The last part of this paper deals with the implementation of the model and its controller into two separate B&R PLC's, which are networked with the Ethernet Powerlink industrial fieldbus and it also describes visualizations that were designed for operating the system.

The issue of vitamin D in elite sport

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that can be synthesized in the skin after exposure to sunlight or obtained through food or supplements. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 14 days of sun exposure in an area with higher levels of UV radiation (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) on vitamin D concentrations in a selected group of water slalom athletes and to further evaluate the changes in concentrations after a further 14 and 30 days after return. Data for the study were obtained by using four blood draws and comparing the average vitamin D concentration between the blood draws. Eleven elite athletes aged 18-35 years who were not taking vitamin D supplements participated in the study. The results showed that before the intervention, the athletes had average vitamin D levels lower (69.4 nmol/l) than the lower reference limit set at 75 nmol/l. Exposure to sunlight for 14 days resulted in a significant increase in vitamin D concentration, with an average increase of 10.8 nmol/l in the study group. Upon return to the Czech Republic, the vitamin D level increased slightly by an average of 0.7 nmol/l for 14 days, but this increase was not statistically significant compared to the previous sampling. Development od methods for analysis of interactions of the antiviral drug ritonavir with lanosterol-14- α-demethylase of pathogenic yeasts

Ritonavir is an HIV protease inhibitor, and has been used as a part of drug cocktails for highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). Oropharyngeal candidiasis is one of the most common opportunistic infections among AIDS patients. The research showed that those who were treated with cocktails containing HIV protease inhibitors including ritonavir suffered from oropharyngeal candidiasis to a much lesser extent than patients who received drugs without protease inhibitors. The reason may be the fact that HIV protease inhibitors also inhibit the proteases of pathogenic yeasts, despite high Ki. Another explanation may be that some of these inhibitors block lanosterol-14-α- demethylase, a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of ergosterol, which is an important component of yeast membranes. Aim of the thesis is the isolation of the microsomal fraction of the pathogenic yeasts Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis and optimization of methods for analysis of the inhibition of yeast lanosterol-14-α- demethylase by ritonavir.
