Visualization for an Intelligent House and its Environment Control

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of visualization and it mentions its purpose and usage as well as the demands placed on it. Other items of work are the creation of the model irrigation system, reviving its electronics and the development and function description of the implemented program. Irrigation is part of the model intelligent house. The entire irrigation system is controlled through the use of the PowerPanel PP400, which is visualized. The remote communication is made possible by the use of the WebServer, email or text messages.

Robust Controllers

This thesis tries to research the term “robust controllers”. Its aim is to compare the robustness of discrete PID controllers (Discrete Equivalent Continuous Controller, Discrete Impulse Area Invariant, Takahashi, Feed-Forward), adaptive discrete PID controllers (Discrete Impulse Area Invariant, Takahashi, Feed-Forward), optimal controllers (quadratic optimal), and adaptive optimal controllers (quadratic optimal) on chosen transfer functions. Its aim is also to check the influence of A/D and D/A converters. The aims to obtain are demarked at the beginning of the text and also there is an explanation of the term “robustness.” Later on there is a description and an approximation to each of the chosen kinds of controllers and the identification methods used in the thesis (for adaptive controllers the method of recursive least-squares was used). The Kharitonov's Theorem are made on the chosen transfer function. Next there is a description of the methods with which the robustness of the controllers will be tested. The first method is the integral criteria, particular ITAE criterion and quadratic criterion. The second one is the analysis of the generalised circle criterion. Furthermore there are various displays of the results obtained and their corresponding comments. The results obtained are graphically displayed and by means of these schemes the particular types of controllers are compared. All of the simulations and results obtained were acquired through the use of the program MATLAB- Simulink. In the end of the thesis there is an overall evaluation.

Communication Between MATLAB and PLC

The aim of this work is to study the software support of The B & R company, and to develop a program based on this study which is displaying data in MATLAB. Various options of a creation of the communication with the PLC will be studied then. The best method will be selected from available methods. This method will be realized. The result of this project is a creation of a graphic interface for displaying the PLC variables, a creation of files and graphs.

The legal position of the private healthcare providers in the Czech healthcare system

The purpose of my Master's thesis in law is to analyse the legal position which the private healthcare providers (i.e. operators of private healthcare facilities) occupy in the Czech healthcare system, particularly in the system of public health insurance. Since the private providers emerged in the Czech Republic only after the Velvet Revolution in 1989, the development of their position within the system is relatively short and unsettled. The legal regulation of the field is quite complicated, yet is the subject of strong political controversies, partly due to the generous but vaguely formulated constitutional right to free healthcare. Currently, the Parliament is in the middle of adoption of the healthcare reform of larger scale which would make changes that deserve to be examined. The thesis is composed of Introduction, three chapters and Conclusion. Each of the chapters aims on different aspect of the topic; however, they are interlinked by common legal institutes which play role in the whole thesis. First two subchapters of Chapter I are most general and introduce the possible ways of financing healthcare (public and private insurers, direct payment) and its specifics. Legal Consciousness of the Czech Society

67 Abstract The purpose of this Bachelor's thesis in sociology is to present the phenomenon of legal consciousness, which is currently quite marginalized in the Czech sociology, and analyse several existing sociological surveys in order to indicate the state of Czech society's legal consciousness. The thesis consists of introduction, three partly interlinked chapters aiming on different aspect of the topic and conclusion. The first chapter introduces the reader into the topic and provides him/her with the theoretical background for the research of legal consciousness. In the first subchapter the number of possible definitions shows the diversity of different authors' points of view on the phenomenon. In the second subchapter the structure of legal consciousness is analysed, particularly the general division to knowledge about law and opinion about law. In the third subchapter the author highlights the importance of legal consciousness as the object of sociological studies, especially by interpreting the interaction between the law and the acts of its recipients and thus the legal efficiency.
