The principle of equal treatment and non-discrimination in labor relations Abstract This dissertation focuses on the analysis of the legal regulation of the Czech Republic containing the principle of equal treatment of employees and the prohibition of their discrimination in labor relations. The other objective is to compare the legal regulations of other European Union Member States and to apply the principle of equal treatment and non- discrimination in practice, including the abundant case law of The Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights and the less case law of the Czech courts. The content of this dissertation above all is an introduction of the principle of equal treatment and non- discrimination, differentiation of material and formal equality including specification of individual discriminatory reasons and an introduction of the most important legal sources in the international legislation, standards of the European anti-discriminatory law and domestic legal adjustment. Assessment of muscle imbalances in handball players

Title: Assessment of muscle imbalances in handball players Objectives: The main aim of this work was to evaluate the occurrence of muscle imbalances in the handball players of the first - league team of woman by means of the kinesiological analysis and segmental analysis from the BIA method. Methods: In modified kinesiological analysis, we focused on assessing posture and examining shortened muscles. To segmental analysis by the BIA method, we used the Tanita MC - 980 apparatus, where we first assessed the asymmetry in the distribution of muscle mass on individual body segments. Results: In 80 % of the total, the upper cross syndrome was recorded. Lower cross syndrome was found in 67 % of the players. The results of segmental muscle mass analysis using BIA showed a statistically insignificant difference (p > 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass in the upper limbs (average difference of 0.05 kg) and a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass at the lower of the limbs (average difference of 0.11 kg). The influence of managers past in social services in to their profession.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the professional past of managers in social services and its influence on the performance of managerial profession. In my thesis I'm dealing with those workers who are currently working in managerial positions and previously worked as social workers. I am interested about how their professional past influenced the performance of their managerial function and how these managers get new managerial competencies. In the theoretical part, I mainly deal with the competencies of social workers, the competencies of managers and then I compare them. I also deal with the acquisition of managerial competencies. In the practical part, I describe the methodology of research surveys and present the results I have reached. The main method is a qualitative research survey using a semi-structured interview. A supplementary method is a quantitative research survey using a questionnaire. In the discussion, I compare these results with available resources. Finally, I reflect the fulfillment of the goals of my thesis and make recommendations.

Title of thesis: The case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with diagnosis of Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine Aim: The aim of thesis is summary of theoretical findings, then study methodology purposes physiotherapy care, proposal of therapy and monitoring of therapy in patients with diagnosis of Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine. Methods: This bachelor's thesis was compiled on the base of internship on the Faculty's hospital Královské Vinohrady during the time period from 23. 1. 2017 - 17. 2. 2017. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with theoretical findings related to this diagnosis. The second, special part encompasses case report of a patient with diagnosis Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine. Results: In the first part it was managed to create theoretical knowledge of the issue. Success of therapy from the second part was confirmed by the output kinesiology analysis. The positive effects of therapeutic units are already visible subjective sensations and the pain reduction of patients. Titel: The efficiency of development strength in the preparatory period of the younger junior girls team of handball Goals: The aim is to find out, how the junior girls team of the premier league of TJ Havlíčkův Brod is changing power capabilities during physical training in pre-and in racing period. Method: The first point of my work was thorough analysis of scientific literature in the field of fitness training, handball and testing. In my work I used a test method. For the evaluation of obtained data and to compare the results, I used the statistical significance of the difference and substantive significance. Results: The results showed differences in strength during the preparatory season between premier league team and SCM team. Comparative Analysis of Selected Waste Management Systems in the United States

This thesis concerns a comparison of two currently the most frequently occuring recycling waste systems in the United States of America -- Single stream and Dual stream recycling systems and an assessment of feasible utilization of Single stream system in the Czech Republic. The comparison is performed from several aspects: investment costs, operating costs, costs of the processors of secondary raw materials, costs of environmental pollution caused by CO2, SO2 and NOx, capacity utilization and citizens participation in the system, focusing on a single commodity; paper and cardboard waste. As according to realized studies the systems represent different load for individual entities in the economy cost-benefit method is used for the comparison. Using this method, four collection areas and the most important beneficiaries (municipal entity, secondary raw materials processors, landfill and residents) involved in the system are analyzed in the state of Pennsylvania. None of the existing studies did not take into account costs and benefits of more than one entity so far. In the Czech Republic no such studies have been realized, therefore this issue has become the subject of this thesis. In term of costs and benefits for the municipal entity the results of realized studies coincide in results of this thesis, i.e. Dual stream recycling system is more suitable for small collection areas. However from the point of view of all the major beneficiaries results of this thesis vastly differ. Based on this analysis it can be concluded that any of the above mentioned systems is not suitable for small communities, regarding the fact the values for the Single stream system are less negative. Application of Single stream system in the Czech Republic, namely in Prague, with all its limitations (we assume costs derived from the U.S. market) comes more favorable than the currently implemented system.
