Firmware for a pressure sensor with HART interfacel
Čožík, Ondřej ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with draft of firmware for a capacitive sensor with HART communication protocol. At first, it briefly describes the HART protocol (principles of communication, frame structure and connectivity devices on the HART bus). Subsequently attention is paid to capacitive sensor description, method of data processing and communication method of the sensor with HART interface. The final part depicts individual parts of the firmware for the capacitive sensor (such as the method of values reading from A/D converter, data reading/writing from/to external or internal EEPROM or calculation of the measured pressure value, its temperature compensation and corresponding current loop, using D/A converter.
The battery charger module for GSM security system
Predný, Patrik ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Čožík, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of universal module of charger for lithium battery that is constructed for the GSM device from ELEDUS company, placed in inaccessible, or difficult to access terrain. The solar energy will be used for battery charging and ensuring the GSM module power supply. The module dimensions are as small as possible for maintaining the compactness and the design focuses on the maximum resource utilization.
Induction Heating Control Unit
Válik, Martin ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The text is focused on development induction heating coltroller. The motivation to create such a device was to correct deficiencies and add the necessary functionality for a device of this type. This was achieved mainly by adding the graphic display and USB interface. Graphic TFT display with buttons and a rotary encoder creates user interface. Part of the control unit is also circuit evaluateing temperature from three thermocouples. The paper dealt with the optimal solution for power supply, communication between control unit and power part, way of controlling graphical TFT display and selection of other components. The core is of course, suitable microcontroller, which manage all parts of the device.
The obstacle detection
Hradiský, Marek ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design and the processing of video captured by Raspberry PI and the possibility of object detection in video. In this thesis is described Raspberry PI as well as video capturing by PiCamera module. There is also section about video processing by OpenCV.
Driver for ultra-bright white LED
Heralecký, Lukáš ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the possibilities of controlling high-brightness white LEDs using circuits operating at high voltages. The job itself is a division of existing light sources and mainly focus on semiconductor technology LED. The following describes the voltage of DC / DC and AC / DC. The work contains a description of the three high-voltage inverters are designed for power LEDs. Finally, it created a draft scheme of the PCB. As a control circuit is chosen ATMEGA 162 microcontroller from Atmel and source for LED diode is formed HV9910 and HV9861 circuits.
Three-way control valve in industrial environment
Vozár, Viliam ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with the design, realization and testing of the system for regulating the temperature of the water in an industrial environment using three-way mixing valve. This system can work autonomously, but also can be controlled by a superior control system. Created temperature regulation can be adjusted and controlled by a computer using control software.
Realization of the electronic locks control board
Bubák, Martin ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Čožík, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with design of a control for electrical lock using the RFID technology. In the first part of this project is stated a description of the function of the RFID technology. There are described advantages of the RFID and also its classification. Further, will be described various types of electrical locks which can be used. The second part of the project is describing design of RFID electronics. There is stated specification of control microcontroller and its wiring with the RFID reading part and also with the switching part of the electrical lock. In this part is also listed description of design of circuit boards for control appliance and for RFID module. The last part of the project is dedicated to the software of microcontroller. There are stated block diagrams of created program and description of wireless communication and UART interface.
Stage lighting control
Pilmajer, Pavel ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
Thesis is focuses on the field of lighting technology for cultural purposes. The work describes the current methods of stage lighting control used in the practice. Next part describes the design of new system of stage lighting control, which compensates for deficiencies of management through computer program. System design and realization is based and optimised for on the management through computer program Freestyler 512.
Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring
Hampl, Tomáš ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes the design of a system usable for wireless measurement of the tire pressure. The goal is to make a theoretical acquintace with the wireless measurement of a tire pressure. Within the master‘s thesis was suggested device at the block level. For individual blocks have been chosen specific circuits. For the device has been selected the pressure sensor SP100-7AT, the microcontrollers Atmega8 and Atmega16 and the wireless module RFM22. The result of the work is a functional prototype of device including software for microprocessors. Final solution was tested during the experimental measurement.
Simulation of heat dissipation for power component
Sedlář, Tomáš ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Čožík, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the simulation of heat dissipation for LED Seoul SZ5-P. The heat transfer is discussed first. Further, the issue of thermal management and its design is analyzed. The dependence of LED junction temperature on area of single and double layer printed circuit board is simulated with Ansys Icepak. Additionally, influences of the number and placement of vias on the printed circuit board and aluminum substrate printed circuit board are simulated. Last but not least, the equations describing the dependence of printed circuit board area on desired LED junction temperature are derived. Finally, the values of heat transfer coefficient including convection and radiation are determined for various heat losses and junction temperatures.
