Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of syringomyelia

Title of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of syringomyelia Objectives: Gain of theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis of syringomyelia and subsequent case study formulation of a patient with this diagnosis during continuous work placement. Methods: The first part of the bachelor thesis contains theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis of syringomyelia, focused on its definition, classificaton, epidemiology, etiopatogenesis, diagnostics, symptomatology, therapy, physiotherapy treatment and prognosis. The second part includes a complete case study of my physiotherapeutic treatment of selected patient with the diagnosis of syringomyelia. Conclusions: Physiotherapy treatment proved effective in alleviation from pain and other problems but the possibilities of complex treatment were very limited due to progression of the ailment. Prevention of hempen drugs in selected region

The aim of this diploma thesis is analysing the preventive programmes in selected region of Prague 12 and suggesting a optimal preventive programme in the sphere of hempen drugs considering results of talks with experts and outputs of bachelor's thesis Marihuana - knowing and attitudes in selected region. Theoretic part pursues history od preventive programmes in the world and in the Czech republic, basic terminology of preventive programmes and Strategy of preventive programmes in Czech republic for actual period 2013-2018. In practical part is analyzed 27 talks with teachers, methodist of prevention and external trainer about their preventive programmes, pursuant them is compiled optimal selection of preventive programme of addictive sbstances for elementary schools. The selection is responding to respondents' satisfaction with selected preventive programmes and his aim is second a idea to entrust a primary prevention to teachers' hands.

8 Abstract The Master thesis analyses the topic of marketing and marketing communication of non- governmental non-profit organisations, which are focused on giving education in develo- ping countries ("target organisations"). The theoretical part of this project defines the term "non-governmental non-profit oganisation", gives examples of target organisations and also describes marketing environment, marketing mix and the tools of marketing commu- nication, used by target organisations. The Practical part describes the quantitative re- search, taken in Czech public, in target organisations and in companies, that support target organisations. It also describes the analyses of other sources. The conclusion gives the possibilities of improving the marketing communication of target organisations, based on outcomes made by the research mentioned before. International volunteering and its role in the professional, personal and social development

This diploma thesis investigates international volunteering in the context of professional, personal and social development of young volunteers. In the theoretical part, definition, history, forms and subjects involved are presented, together with the impacts and ethical questions related to the field. Next, the professional, personal and social development is defined and international volunteering is put in light as a source of important skills. The empirical part is concerned with one specific form of international volunteering - workcamps. Firstly, organisation INEX-SDA, which sends hundreds of youngsters to workcamps each year, is introduced. Next, methodology and results of an original qualitative research focused on the role of workcamps in workcamp-participants' lifes are discussed. The results suggest that workcamps have various impacts on and connectedness with the participants' development, the professional as well as the personal and social. By some, the workcamp's impact on their life and development is perceived as subtle, while others see significant effects, workcamps had on their life and skills. Whole spectrum of skills and values that can be acquired on workcamps is revealed and described in relation to career and personal life. Key words international volunteering, international...
